I think the restocking system either broke or officially went into effect in the last couple of days because it went from super filled shops with maybe a lil but too much, to literally nothing in shops at all with nothing restocking ever. Sounds like something went wrong somewhere.
Right now there are maaaaaybe 5 shops with stock in them. The Apothecary is FULL of elixirs, but then there are 31 sets of shoe decals and 18 green cummerbunds in some of the clothing stores and that's basically it. Spells Galore hasn't restocked in days, and I've been keeping an eye on it a few times a day on my second screen at work.
I do think something is busted here, especially as when I'm questing it will try to tell me there's stock in an NPC shop, but when I click it the shop is just empty. It doesn't feel like they're being cleared out by users, although there could just be some very dedicated people who don't need any more shoe decals and cummerbunds right now.
Hunting for: (It's the only beanbag I need for a full collection!)
nothing is restocking for me on the new site. most/all of the shops have been empty all day. additionally, the legacy shops seem to be very scant in items as well.
it's frustrating having these changes be pushed to the live site without additional testing because every change seems to be affecting shop stock in an extreme way. first it was far too many, then it was minimal, and now there is nothing.
Shops have gone from restocking too many items to not restocking at all. There are clearly some bugs that need to be worked out before pushing Kumos shops to the live site.
The shops haven't restocked in days, so I think that's the main reason we're seeing empty shops right now. It's been a problem for several days now. The shops say they've restocked recently, but that's not the case.

I had a look on Discord but couldn't find any explanation for the shops not restocking.
same no Restocking every time i go to NPC shop for quest item the shop is fully empty needs to be fixed up
I know this isn't the exact point here but uh...kumos is now fixed on mobile so I can see things again, but on browser it has....shrunk considerably. I have like a 20" screen and all of the text is so tiny I have to squint and put my face close to the screen. I am not zoomed out.

Is there some way we can have shop item filtering permanently/default set? I'd prefer sort by Price Low to High. If there was a toggle, that would be great. As it stands, it's slow and clunky, and it requires me to filter the items after every restock.

"Never stocked Unavailable" - says in the "all items" info for various items, that ARE in the shop at the moment? Also, a couple of items are missing since the overhaul (which I had bought there before - this has been mentioned by somebody else, however I can't find the post) ...and the Super Rares are still available in "masses".
So these changes are going to be very much a wait and see how it's going to be like kind of thing. Right now with the restock frequency being so low and many shops reaching their 500 item limit I barely use them. However I do notice we will probably be running into a couple of problems with this new system. Just a bit of what I've noticed right now since it's been implemented:
Apocalyptic Apothecary - Something like 90% of inventory is classed as Rare and above? It's a very VERY slow moving shop because items that don't sell will be sitting there a week minimum before clearing out, and the chance of another unsellable potion taking its place is very very likely. I want to still see how this plays out though because maybe the site will balance itself out but I think stat boosters are going to get pricier, but I think special potions like Reborn, Spectrum, etc. will fair well in this environment and be able to retain their value
Shops with a low amount of unique items will have disproportionately higher chance to contain super rares and R99s because reaching the 500 item limit will take more time and thus users will have more chances to catch a good restock. For example I just grabbed an Ornate Floral Pitcher just moments ago because Seedlings is only half full. According to the restock restructuring it won't be in there again for another month but I'll keep an eye out to see if I can catch it in stock again. Maybe it'll restock quicker because there's still tons of room left? But if the goal is to make all super rares/legendaries actually be a feat to restock there might need to be some balancing across different shops and how fast they fill up so people actually get a chance in shops where they're always full
The Apocalyptic Apothecary is supposed to be a battling supply shop but it's full of elixirs which very few people will buy from there because they tend to be a lot cheaper in user shops. The legacy shop has a few dark potions but the rest of the stock is elixirs.
In the old days there was a separate shop for potions and elixirs so there was a real chance of getting stat boosters from the Apocaleptic Apothecary.
Going back to the Kumos site, there are still shops which have no stock in them. When will stock be added for these shops?
Checked back into Seedlings again today and bought another Ornate Floral Pitcher, and there's one in there again since I myself bought one. I don't think the 1 month smart restocking feature is working correctly...
EDIT: Same thing happened the next day. Bought a floral pitcher and one immediately sprang back into the shop 😔
Spells Galore doesn't seem to stock certain ingredients that the Wizard Quest asks for. Every time he asks for them, it's initially listed as in stock at the NPC shop but when it takes you there, it's only available at the user shops.
I wonder if the items are just hidden and not marked available to users somehow, but visible to that initial quest page. Idk. Theories.
(her description code also seems to be buggy)
I've been buying 1 a day for awhile cuz it's always there in the shop and now I have 40 Glade Potions and 42 Ornate Floral Pitchers. Something with the super rare items definitely needs to change... T-T
Looking for:
This is again ruining economy more than before
Yet some items have disappeared, respectively have never restocked at all. Not just high rarity ones, though.
Spells Galore is acting up in an especially weird way, as 2 weeks or so ago it has lost all items, ceased to restock anything but the same 20ish Super Rares and Rares. It's a fairly tiny shop, so why does it no longer stock a vast variety of its goods?
Example of a shop with huge array of merchandise: Books - masses of Super Rares, that come back day by day (though missing a few), yet in comparison hardly any of the low rarity books.
About Apocalyptic Apothecary I already lamented much earlier ;-)
I bought an Ornate Floral Pitcher from Kumos Seedlings a couple of hours ago. Have just gone back to the shop and it has restocked again.
However, this is an example item, only. Same with all "one item per day only" - that DO restock and are not left out completely. You just go farming from shop to shop. There is something very wrong with the aimed for pattern. I'm not throwing them out way underpriced, but others are :-( I'm keeping them for my own questing purposes or simply hoard for possible future bad days. However, esp. with Maleria and Alexander I have noticed legacy quests asking for high rarity goods a lot more frequently nowadays.
It's time for Subeta Team to buy the "junk-priced" ones up again...
edit: An inconsistency I've noticed (of course for a while I questioned my mind's sanity before actually checking): some R80s are 1 per day, others 10 per day ???
It would be amazing if we could sort by price low to high by default. If I sort by price low to high and restock an item, it reverts back to alphabetical.

If I've already restocked my cap of an item for today, please just hide that item from the shop view until my cap resets.
It doesn't matter how many times I see that shiny rare item in the shop today. It doesn't matter how many times I try to click it today. My cap is still done. There's no need to torment us with stuff that is not for sale. It's frustrating for restocking (because my memory is short and I waste time trying to buy things that I can't), but it's also incredibly frustrating for quests. Especially when the NPC asks for the same rare item for 3 consecutive quests but I can only buy 1 per day.
I'd also like to see the NPC Shop link hidden for quest items I've already reached my daily cap for. There's no reason to drag me all the way to the shop, let me get excited that I'll be scoring a quest item for 1k instead of 50k, just to find out that I've reached my cap already and have to go back to search user shops and pay the 50k anyway.
