Hey taking a bit of my club sandwich dipped in ranch you know..my daughter Anna does curry stuff i will take a sip later . Okra is a Southern favorite, and many people don't like it because they say it's too gummy. I love it myself. It's a vegetable.

I had never even heard of fiddleheads, but they look tasty! If you can find okra, give it a try. Breaded and fried is my favorite.

, My longest stretch was 216 days, then a blizzard took out the internet/phone tower. I haven't managed to get past 100 days since then. I must have been from the south in a past life or something, because I love using okra in gumbo and jambalaya. (much to my Hawaiian husband's dismay) I'm also a big fan of fried grits with maple syrup which I can get him to eat as long as I serve it with spam.

I've never had gumbo or jambalaya. If they're spicy or hot I never will. And unless it's chocolate I don't care much for sweets, especially on food. I'm more a meat and potatoes type person. I'm almost up to half a year, I'm very hopeful about actually making it this time.
