I've been so stressed out. I finally finished wrapping the stuff for the first holiday party. It's with my chosen family on Saturday. Next I need to cook three sides, make 3 dozen cookie and a pie. Then work on the craft we are going to do. Next is to get ready for Christmas at my in-laws, then with my mom the 27, and at home the 28. I'll be busy everyday from now till the 29..... I'm tired just thinking about it. but boy should it be fun! I hope everyone has a safe and stress less rest of the year!

Did you follow a special diet or way of eating? I am so happy for you!! Does a happy dance I've got Steatotic liver disease severe grade 3. I've lost 50 pounds which has helped a lot. Giving up sodas was the biggest part, sugar, white flour, bread pretty much everything I've eaten my whole life. Sandwiches, chips it's been hard, but when you want to live, things become easier. I'm only 63 I feel I have a lot of life to live yet!! I live here at the coast and I love it. It's so beautiful and healing here. I keep a happy, healthy and positive attitude as much as possible. I don't like to watch the news or anything negative. I love to laugh and be happy, laughter is the best medicine besides kindness. I hope all of you have a wonderful day! TTYL ❤ Bye!

No special diet. Being as sick as I was was enough for the weight to come off. plus I had a large tumor removed from my rectum. I was unable to eat for months. it prevented me from getting rid of any waste. which in turn prevented me from eating. I would vomit every time I tried to eat anything. So being sick is what made the weight come off. I only drink water for the last 3 years, My sickness has caused a lot of organ problems for me and can't tolerate much foods. mostly only fowl and fish. I cannot digest beef or pork of any kind these days. I have gastroparesis now and congestive heart failure along with hypothyroidism and an enlarged spleen. Stage 4 kidney failure as well. I'm a mess but I won't give up! I have everything stable rn but I have to be careful not to get it all started up again. I may not pull thru it again. So I watch what I eat and keep busy so I don't gain again. I'm so happy you are in a peaceful place in your life. I'm 65 and not ready to go yet either. lol I still need to find my peaceful place so I to can be a happy camper. I love the ocean but live too far away from it. I also adore the mountains. So peaceful and you get to see all the lil animals running around and different kinds of birds. cirrohsis is no fun thing to have and I got it from being severely overweight. well no more. I'll stay slim from now on. I have to. <3

I can't believe how long you have to wait for results. I would think that a nurse practitioner would have been able to handle that but I agree, if it were serious, would the really make you wait? but 2 months? Wow! ((hugs and prayers))

I commend you on doing anything on this site with your phone. I tried to navigate on a tablet and got frustrated. I wont even attempt using my phone, lol. I can only use my laptop/pc

If anyone has noticed someone lurking around your homes, I couldn't help myself. All those wonderful aromas coming from your kitchens, it was just too tempting! Everyones treats sound so delicious. I am planning on making some pecan pie balls on Monday and hopefully some cookies soon.

Has anyone watched any good holiday movies? I saw Red One and The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. Loved them!

Also my kids loved the hayride and the baking! I took my son to a city park that has a festival and playground as well! He faced his fear of heights with the carosuel and ferris wheel

Hello Everyone,

I was gone all day. Went to Amish country. Had great food and a great time with friends. Just got home about an hour ago. Saw a Christmas display of lights and then when we got back home, stopped to watch the synchronized lights and music at our Courthouse Square in town. The courthouse and gazebo were both lit and synchronized to the Christmas music. It was spectacular.

I will definitely go in after Christmas and request my results.

We made sugar cookies, i made them the proper way this year, and took the kids to the pier to play. They didnt let me see all of the light displays but my city looked beautiful across the water.

The Amish do not use modern day appliances and live in houses with generators. They drive buggy that are horse drawn. You might of heard of Pennsylvania Dutch in Lancaster, PA. I live in Ohio and we have a fairly large community. It's about an hour away from where I live. Sugarcreek is one of the biggest and they sell T-shirts and other items stating Amish country.

They make all their foods from scratch and it tastes so good and fresh. My favorites are their broasted chicken and noodles.

thoughts and prayers for good results. live about an hour away from Amish as well. I'm also in Ohio. There are several Amish stores in Adams county. I would love to go to the area that you are talking about, though. I've heard so much about Sugarcreek!
