Hey folks is ther eANY way to get the theme back to the old theme...? i cant for the life of me figure out where anythign is at the moment and all i want is to find where to get the stuff for the daily luminaire have missed 3 days sso far becuse ive nto been able to find it ><

No he is able to stay in his own place with an aide for now. I will keep an eye on things tho. he can still do a few things for himself but he does need help with household chores and cooking. His aide will continue to take him to chemo every 2 weeks. that will give me time to keep myself healthy. I'm getting tired myself. getting up there in age and some things are harder for me to do. I'll still spend the holidays with him so he isn't without family. It's just best for us both if I get him an aide. someone younger. I don't consider myself an angel. he's my brother and family is very important to me. I'm all he has atm.

Your brother seems to be responding well to chemo? I know he’s been fighting his battle for quite some time. It’s wonderful that he is able to do the things for himself, an aid is definitely helpful. Especially since it has freed up time for yourself to continue your self care! I know how important your family is to you and, the love you have for them. But, make no mistake, you are an Angel!! Thank you my sweet friend. <3 He is is a sort of remission but he must keep doing chemo or it will come back and they won't be able to settle it down again. They took him off the one med because it was ruining his heart. He is holding steady now but it's no guarantee that it will stay silent. I dread that day. We have become very close these last few years and I hate the thoughts of losing him. H will be 72 in Feb. But he's a fighter for sure. Love coming right back at you sweetie. In buckets full!! :D

I’m happy to hear that your brother is in remission. Chemo is definitely hard on the body! Is the chemo that he continues to do in pill form? He’s a fighter for sure, I can’t imagine how hard going through chemo at any age, especially at his age! Prayers and blessings to you both. <3 <3

no he has a port in his chest and wears a bag for 2 days and then he gets it taken off when it empties. he does this every 2 weeks for the last 3 1/2 yrs. it gets tough for him some days. wears him out. but otherwise he won't let it beat him. he's a tough old bird. lol I tell him that all the time. lol we usually make the best of chemo day. i like to keep him out as long as possible as he doesn't et out except for chemo and port pick removal. that's only 4 days a month. he has a hard time walking because he's so big and his knees are shot. so we do what we can while we are out. But i'm getting up there and it's getting hard for me as well. that's why I'm getting him an aide

Damn! He really is a tough ole bird isn’t he!! That’s a lot of chemo going into his body, especially at 72! Have I ever told you how much I hate this terrible disease?? F cancer! I pray that your brother continues to kick cancers ass!! You are a wonderful sister! I’m sure he enjoys the outings with you to the fullest! Enjoy your time with your brother. have you done battle quests? It gives out experience points that can be traded in for strength and other points. plus you learn a lot about battling and the opponents. Its a great place to start. Let me know how your doing and I'll be happy to help out

it has been a long time, yes! My laptop keypad started not working so now I'm using my phone and it's a lot harder for me. I think I need to get a new laptop asap. I've missed you too, I'm so happy to hear you're doing better now. Thank God! Have an awesome day everyone :)

I use a desktop computer. I don't think I could use a phone. It's too small for my old eyes. lol!

12/7/24 Just got home from The Ohio Star Theatre in Sugarcreek, OH. My friends and I went to see A Christmas Carol, the musical. It was very good and the price of our ticket included the buffet at Dutch Valley Restaurant.
