How is everyone doing this fine evening? I've been terribly busy the last 4 days with holiday baking. I made 12 different kinds of cookies, pumpkin, banana and zucchini breads. A pumpkin roll and I still have 2 apple pies to make. Everything turned out yummy. Is anyone else doing any baking for the holidays? A lot of my bakes are going to be gifts to my family and friends. It;s a ton of work but I enjoy it sooo much!! Call me crazy but I'm in such a holiday spirit this year. My youngest grandson has been spending a lot of time with me and we have enjoyed doing baking together. It's so wonderful to have him here helping me. lol He's such a blessing. <3 I hope everyone is well and in good spirits as well.

yes! We are going to make christmas pretzels and a chocolate chip cookie cake this week and Christmas cookies subday/monday! Do it every year plus make ornaments!

I’m so happy that you are feeling so well, you have the energy of 10 of me!! I can imagine the wonderful smells that your house is filled with. I love the smells of Christmas baking 😋 We will be making cookies and, breads this weekend. I wanted to start this week but, I have Dr. appointments. Tomorrow, I get the results of my bladder biopsy, Dr said he doesn’t think it’s cancer. 🙏 🙏 Wednesday I go get blood panels, Thursday, heart Dr. It seems all I do anymore is go to Drs.

The smells are wonderful. So Christmasy in here. lol And it's such a blessing having my grandson help me. We had a lot of fun. I'm glad this year I have the energy and spirit to do all this. Thank you for your well wishes and Unfortunately, my Dr had to be out today on an emergency. Now, I can’t be seen until February, unless someone cancels. I understand that emergencies are unforeseen, what I don’t understand is why do I have to wait 2 months to get an appointment? Hopefully, it isn’t anything serious, those 2 months could be a big difference in getting treatment started!!

I totally understand. My doc did that to me as well and that's why my condition became serious enough that it almost cost me my life! I don't wait anymore. I insist that I be seen asap or I go somewhere else. They seem to understand that and get me in sooner. Be persistent and don't let them push you off. If necessary go see another doc. It's your health not theirs! Best of luck to you sweetie! <3

the thing is, with my insurance, I can’t just go see another Dr. I have to get a referral. It is hard to get in to see the Dr in California. ER visits take hours and hours to be seen and, getting appointment can take forever!! I want to think that if the results were serious, he would have had a colleague see me for results.

if they have your results you can insist on knowing what they are even if it's over the phone so you can either relax or move forward. You don'[t have to wait for results sweetie

Hello to all my dear friends!! I hope all of you are doing great today. I would demand my results! 2 months is a long time to wait! Someone should at least be able to mail them to you!!! thank you. I worked hard to get here. And I must say it paid off. mostly what helped s losing 150 pounds. I'm almost at my normal weight. Just a few more pounds to go yet. it kept my cirrhosis from getting any worse and it helped my kidneys to stabilize as well. I hope all is well with you too. all my baking is finally done! So many yummy goodies to hand out now. everything turned out so good.
