Mine have been taking course to get an AAS for automotive, an if completed with a pass mine can graduate after four years. Mine dad's truck is in need of a lot of work, the engine, suspension, and interior al have old parts or are not perfoming to spec.

An mine was correct about toady, the class underwent an exam to demonstrate gknowlledge an understanding of electrical circuits. Mine suppose Friday's shop may include it's own exam. The easy part is done, now we begin diagnostics...

diagnostics are harder than electrics? I think I'd be lost for all of it. I took a couple of the HAM radio exams and that about maxed out my understanding of electrical anythings.

I dyed 7 yards of silk fabric today and consider the day a success. Now to just sit around with cats, watching junk shows. I hope I've got some chocolate squirreled away somewhere...

In a way, they are more difficult. But being able to diagnose a problem quickly can be a major factor in getting and keeping a position in this field. That's why an understanding of the systems is key to getting to the root cause.

awww sad huh? I have only a lovebird who sits on her infertile eggs like a good mama!I got her adopting to give her a good home.used to have a huge aviary vidrent and varied birds. Was known for it in santa barbara so I get all the strays n love them.stopped that quite several many yrs ago...but I still get them. I LOVE birds. We had geese when I was young and they each had a whiskey barrels for their home. Geeeesh I could could talk about them for way to long.

I am always impressed with knowledge of cars...I know how to check the oil n that's it.

Mine also had egg laying hens and then some growing up, but that ended after mine mums passing.

An oil change is a start, mine still learning and can use some refreshing on rusty topics.

Mine make sure that this gknowledge be used for benefit of others, who may not fully understand as mine does.

do you find family/friends kinda DONT pay they thinks it is a gimme!!! it is a hard topic to appraoch with them but when 1st talking about it you need to say..upon/because of this...diagnosis it will cost you...a family and friends discount included...i am proud of ll that you know..amthamatics i like because there is a difinative answer to it..must use alot in your industry!

my best friend went through spinning her own yarn using hat she bought online like alpaca wool..even dogs hair online color it and use it for projects. it must be rewarding dying that LARGE a piece of fabric(7 yds.) and have it comegood!! you go girl~~

Mine gknow JAG pays as well as possible, an mine dad allows using his truck while GeM gets worked on, that mentality isn't seen much in mine line.

Mine meant helping stranded drivers who may only be able to say say "Thank you" if mine can help.

In shop mine may be dropping the cradle nest week, and begin the transission swap. If time allows mine maw want to change suspension part on thr Tacoma, and get that out of the way.

[Edit]Update 3/28 Mine group in shop was diagnosing an AC problem for today's assignment. The AC woundn't cool under any setting. We saw that the compressor clutch wasn't engaging either, so we began to rule out other possible causes. After a few hours mine suggested to look at input sensors that can indirectly affect the AC.

Mine found that this car's engine temp sensor was improperly connected. That was mended, and we ran the car again on MAX AC. It worked, so our instructor evaluated our findings and when mine explained the root cause allowed the group to sign out.

Something tells mine we got the easy problem.

AND when mine got home, as mine was feeding the geese...a little sound from underneath the mom...one new gosling so far!
