Good to be back, tho mine unaware mostly to what this is, to have returned to.

For now mine between classes, the nest in a couple hours then Friday's shop.

Mine car is on her way to beginning a recovery, twelve four hour sessions to remove the engine, transmission; then swap a junkyard replacement, and reinstall the whole thing. And if the process goes well, mine should be able to drive her home. Mine suppose if the swap fails after some time, the poor thing may end up scrapped herself.

Mine fixed her heart, but couldn't keep her running...

Yes sort of. I do love the contact and the silly things these kids do keep my storylines active. I just wish DEBT wasn’t so consuming. That’s not the right word, but my mental “translate” is sleeping. Lol

Plenty of time this weekend, to clean up this Superfund site. Tomorrow mine start the woodstove, after al the months burning scrap lumber, and resinous pine. Fortunately the "cold weather" is mostly gone, and the day can allow more time to ream out the build-up.

Shop is getting interesting, the classes are shifting from remedial topics to more involved and hands-on exercises.

Mine car's progress is limited to shop hours and instructor time, tho that class is eight in size. But engine removal is unfamiliar territory for mine, zo a cautious approach may prove favorable.

It sounds like fun in your shop class, the shift to hands on is the best!

Once the fun part begins, it won't seem like classwork. Granted that a written copy of the results should be turned in, then working in groups can allow some headway.

Mine have today off, no shop. Zo some catching up is in order. The Stoopid Bowl an other distractions cut mine off yisterday...

Mine does enjoy the olde ways, as opposed to the modern technique of "pressing a button" method.

Mine dad's truck is giving some stern guff, the cooling system may be plugged at the radiator. The symptom of a cooler hose to the thermostat still persists even after mine changed the said part.

Mine have conniptions with this "improvement" is enough to make mine rethink resuming so soon.

Mine work last night gave some imrpovement, the engine runs bettern the heater works faster, and a brake inspection shewed that a full change out is needed.

And does she need one! The front rotors are too thin (21.6mm as opposed to 30mm minimum.), the brake pads are within 1/8 in to their wear limit, and the rear are just as worn. Mine dad will need to gknow about this, zo he can either shell out for parts, or determine what can wait.

GeM sat out last night, but she needs a few other disconnections before moving on to the powerplant removal.
