We still have 2 feed them twice a day for puppies they were to skinny and still are. Come to find out their good truck dogs too. So that means they are going to be good on road trips. They dont like men coming up near the truck though, I consider it a plus. They get alert when anyone walks by while its park to, and watch them intently. They are always smelling everything, and I encourage it. Its so hot here, that I only let them outside for long time is early in the a.m. I go out with them when they pottie, so I know they did it and get back inside out of the heat. They have been tracking 2 squirrels that come in the yard, and funny no more cats in the yard. I love cats, just not their little gifts all over the yard. The squirrels were Ronnie's buddies, and now they are getting to know the pups.

With you by my side all the time, its been team effort all the way your the Game/Event Bear and remind Sydney she forgot helper. Love how all the Bears kick in and help with so much here, family work together like a huge family reunion every day. I wish could be here, but realize RL has her busy and its her priority as it should be she has a lot going on.

Just got back from the store it's about 6 miles away but it's a highway speed limit 55... one of the side affects of meningitis is vertigo well what a trip that is when driving lol choose the right road out of the five that r spinning in a circle or u will be in a 10 foot ditch on the side of the road

My parents are happy enough to take care of me that I'm staying an extra week now. Roommates had an emergency come up that made them feel like they wouldn't be ready to take over my care quite yet so I'm staying put for a bit longer. I just wish we'd had a chance to introduce my parents' new pup to my dog before my surgery so my boy could have come with me.

I am glad to hear your staying longer with your parents. If one of your parents take both dogs for a walk after they meet outside, they should be fine. Exactly no way to know when it happens, so to be safe have someone drive you. I am not giving you an inch, on this one. That scares me. Try your best to have someone with you Please. Unfortunately things are a little more complicated with our dogs' personalities. My boy, Duo, is very friendly and energetic and their boy, Freddie, is just getting used to having a new, loving home and is scared of everything right now. We know Duo would love Freddie because he loves making friends and we're pretty sure they'll be fine together eventually but Freddie is very skittish and easily overwhelmed right now and Duo doesn't really understand personal space. So as much as I miss him, it's better for him to stay with my roommates and their dog right now.

Yea I think your right. We had to introduce Ronnie to my younger son's 2 mini dachshunds, the female has a strong personality. We did the meet and greet outside with my younger son walking all 3 dogs on a leash and it worked. Thankfully. But my 2 new puppies are to much for my son's dogs. Especially the male, he had spine issues so they try to limit his activities and interaction with other dogs. Our puppies at 7 months tower over my son's mini dachshunds already.

I'm sure they do! My parents and I both have corgis but I have a Cardigan corgi and they have a Pembroke so theirs is smaller and he's younger and he just wasn't socialized as well by his previous owners. We haven't even considered introducing him to my roommates' dog, Zelda, yet because she's a huge great Pyrenees mountain dog and she might be Duo's best friend but she'd scare poor little Freddie to death.

I would have never guessed. That was a good one. Good, or pull over and wait for it to go away. Pyrnees are towering giant dogs, but very easy going. My Ronnie was scared easy to, he previous owner was abusive. Thankfully when he got here our old dog Roxy was protective of him, and their roles reversed as she got old and feeble. Duo will mellow with age, and by that time Freddie has had a chance to fear things less.

Heheh, now I need to think of another one.
