This is my third time moving and packing is still a b*** every time! I'm slowly packing. I haven't given much in donations, but I did donate a total of 15 mugs and glasses that I don't use and don't plan on using. I'm still going "I don't need this, but I should keep it", so that's what is happening between keep VS donation/garbage.

My dad wants $600 in rent. I was not expecting to pay more than $450, but my dad is greedy, so I was expecting rent (while both brothers were charged $500). Living there for free while trying to save money for a better apartment isn't feasible (whatever). It's going to be living hell living with my parents because my dad is very controlling and my mom is micromanaging me. I don't have any other options. The cigarette smoke is so bad, I can't stay here anymore.

P.S. My dad is still working out of country on contract work and it's not like he's 100% retired anymore. A lot of parents don't charge their adult children rent, but even when I was 19 and working, I had to pay my dad rent. It is what it is. I wish he would stay in the USA forever. It's so nice without him. I just have to deal with my mom and her childish behaviour
