Haha, same. I try to multitask and put on an audiobook (or watch something in another window), which helps a lot. It's all about racking up those quest points. xD
No, I got to see 2/3 of the eclipse and went to see it at C.I.T. (California Institute of Technology), so yeah, just less than 1/2 of the sun was visible but still the next one will the in 2044. Hopefully, I'll still be around, LOL.

Ooh, that's still good going. :O Wow, 20 years away. I can't even imagine how the world will look like in 2044 let alone if I'll still be around. xD

Do we have members playing Lioden? I joined yesterday, looking for friends. I won't spend very much time there but I like to have a cute pride adorned with beautiful decorations and backgrounds, LOL.

Lioden looks interesting, might go check it out and see what is going on...

You can create cute / kind / friendly or evil /snarky / bold lions, LOL. Beautiful backgrounds and adornments. Lots of battling if you want it. I like exploring more and the cute games but best, convincing a new lioness to join the pride. Many things to do daily, too. Easy to learn the ropes but really complex when it comes to breeding. I am ulalena there, too, and my ID is 473533.

"i will look in to it after i sort out my inventory items and see what is up.

Nice, meet me there!

I am just packing right now to drive home later this afternoon, it will have to wait a while longer very sorry for the delay.... I will let you know when I get there as things seem to keep piling up on me today as to what has to be taken home and not to be taken.

Looking for and

Good morning, my friends, I hope you had a wonderful Masquerade and danced all through the days!
As many of you have noticed, I was only around for dailies during the event. All is okay here but we are leaving for Sylt on the 22th and vacation preparations are a bit more demanding this year than the years before. That's not due to packing luaggage, most of the kitty stuff found already its way into the bags, LOL. It's more about work. Since we stay on Sylt for 4 weeks, this means I can't treat patients during this time and have many appointments in the weeks before to make a therapy complete or at least prepare the patients so they can cope when I am not reachable. Also, I packed all possible weekend teaching into the weeks before so that I have to do less teaching when staying north. The first two weeks of the 4 are still lessons to give so I wanted at least have free weekends then.
My other time consuming problem was that my practice partner who shared rent with me is pregnant and notified me she wanted to leave for a break. I had to do several interviews for finding a new partner so the rent is not too high for me. The interested collegues naturally wanted to visit the practice rooms, too, and since my practice after our move to the backcountry is now 80 miles distance, that was a lot of driving or more, driving time, because the cities and streets we have to drive for this are totally crowded. I have found a nice lovely practice fellow now who will join me in September so problem solved, but Subeta and all other mini-games I at least still do dailies for got less attention, not because I decided to to so but because the day has only 24 hours, LOL.
So you all are still in my heart, nothing has changed! Tomorrow, prizes for the open contests will be given (you can enter until then) and Fashion Fever and Sub Hub will start anew, perhaps also critters because I have still some cute ones sitting in my vault, waiting to get adopted.
During the 4 weeks on Sylt, these contest will continue in their regular weekly interval. When we return end of July, I am going to prepare a bigger HA contest like the ones we did before, with several categories, so August will be fun!
Sending all my love and hugs, always yours,
Birgit

Oo that's one heck of a trek to drive 80 miles to do some interviews, but I'm sure it's been worth it in many ways, from living outside of a crowded city to finding a new work partner before your vacation.
Glad to see you've got everything worked out and can relax and enjoy your vacation!
