Really? It was working this summer and then it stopped Shop search, user and pet search

Search (users, pets) do not work for me no matter what I put. Shop search is also broken when I search the .

As of today Shop Search suggestions work again as does User Search. Pet Search doesn't react at all.

Yeah I'm like.. 98% sure it went down when legacy names were added, I feel like I remember it being mentioned in the newspost about them? I wanna say it had to be taken down temporarily to fix it to work with legacy names but I could be misremembering... but yeah almost certain it did go down for a while after then. I thought it had been fixed since but it doesn't seem to be working atm :(

Chiming in to say that pet search is still down - would like to see this bug fixed, as it's pretty much impossible to find relevant pets to add to your Pet Friends section right now.

I got excited when I thought I found names that haven't been taken, and created some pets. But now I wonder if they already are created and I made a non-legacy? I'm not sure how it works. I want the OG pet name not a duplicate one lol. and yes pet search is broken for me too

There's a pinned thread about it in the Subeta Pets section of the forum that explains no pet made after the change can have an entirely unique name. Even if the search was working and you saw that there were no other pets with the name you wanted someone could simply make the same pet after you.

That said, I came here to make a board on this same issue. Was hoping to search pet names to see if anyone else had similar fandom pets to me and get ideas for my treasure chests, but nothing (including the example name in the pinned Pets post) works.

username search does not work for me

I was trying to look for two players to give gifts to, but when I search their names it didn't work, so I had to go to my profile and use the link from my page to get to their pages. Just retype their names into the url with profile page link.

I would love to be able to search say 'Fred' as a pet name. and all the pets named Fred show up. And a * next to the legacy pet named Fred. Or have a red boarder around the one pet in a list. Unless it was cleansed and then no legacy name would show up.
A search for exact name or variant too. Like Fred and everyone with fred in the name. Fredrick, Reefred (yeah not real just an example).

I would love to see if an item is readable, edible or wearable etc. This could be shown by little icons on an icon bar below the item. Also rarity should definitely be included. Maybe even if I own this item? Will there be some search operators like * (wildcard), "" (exact phrase), AND, OR etc?
