Just wanted to voice that I also like the added secondary defense icons too. Now there's more reason to owning different godlies/semi-godlies that block the same main defense icon but have different secondary defense icons.
While on the topic of dual blockers, I was hoping the Ether and the Trident could get a secondary defense icon as well. I have not been using them as much anymore since they only block one icon while the other revamped godlies/semi-godlies now block two or more icons.
The way I understood the Trident's various changes to the (so far) last statting is, that it finally kept the full blessing and a marginal better healing for higher tiers sacrificing a second defence. If BoNA and Parched were given back their old chances or even boosted, we could fall back on the boosted defence crystals in place of a secondary weapon defence. While the Trident's blessing already does prevent being frozen and being stolen from anyway.
there are a couple of those t0 weapons floating around. They used to be weapons, but they had their stats removed a long time ago.

What's the standardized pattern for drops after 10 wins by difficulty now? Assuming there is one, there may not be.
There's been standardized loot for years :p With a few exceptions of course. Easy challengers are a bit wonky.

CS challengers were the biggest exception but there were others seemingly random exceptions too. Glad if every non-event challenger is now standardized.
The BoNA change hurts me big time. Multiples are on almost all of my (many) weapons and wasted now :-(

Plus we will have to use 2 slots instead of 1, when the plan was to give more room to other mods. Or use the expensive pinkies and live with only 5.5 % chance.

[edit] As much as I hate to do this, - this challenger is still dropping the weapons as loot as well as dropping the weapon as the 5 wins achievement:
Diavester - Pink Diamond Scythe (did 5, got 2 copies, one from the drop and one from the achievement)
I tested the all of the others I was able to test and they are not still dropping the loot copy.
Opponents I cannot test: Kain Goddessbane
Diavester has been fixed and the other two are also fine!

I don't really have any good solutions, but I am happy to see that opponent freeze rates will be tweaked. It feels bad as a player to be max health, then frozen for like...5+ turns and lose, despite not being able to do anything to counter that. Maybe something like...freezing multiple turns in a row lowers the chance of success? (So both you and the opponent have to alternate moves?) I'm thinking of it sort of in the logic of pokemon, where you technically can use Protect 2+ turns in a row, but the odds go WAY down that it will actually work. In theory, this could give the player a turn to react and heal/anticipate using a block or something?
What are more experienced people's thoughts on this? I've got a low T13 pet with an almost evenly stated spread, so i'm curious to see how my "high" defence pet will function now!

Not sure how much the % freeze was changed on Raffle's weapons, but she still feels like she's freezing at the rate she was before. Not sure if this was a miss or just a result of the nerfed freeze protection so far, especially when scrolls cannot be used on her.
Do you know what scroll piece Abox is supposed to give out at 500? SL has no notes about it giving a scroll at all
It doesn’t, it only gives out mage amulets at win 500 as of right now.
I haven't really done much battling yet, but as I'm planning it out, I'm probably going to do something like 2 Parched 2 Bona or 2 Parched 1 Bona 1 Rose on every weapon, not because it's optimal for any given opponent, but because that should be enough to prevent me from ever going into a new challenger and getting frozen/stolen from.
So I think the problem isn that BONA lost its freeze protection, but that EOR/EORD mods are not just barely not good enough to ever really invest in for the endgame, unless you are really really trying to min/max for a specific high score table.
I think its good that BONA blocks steal and parched blocks freeze. I like the change to 80% freeze block on parched, since that should still make it so you rarely/never get chain frozen, without seeming to make you as invincible against freezing. I like that its 100% steal block on BONA, since if it ever drops its often just game over.
If you really want people to use a variety of mods though, I think you need to either give more weapons some innate freeze protection, or I would crank the activation rate on them way up, and drop the freeze protection rate down a bit.
Something like: BONA 18% 5 turns 97% steal block Parched 18% 5 Turns 70% freeze block Rose: 11% 4 turns 60% steal 60% freeze block
In that Scenario i'm still putting 1 of each on pretty much every weapon I own, but i'm not going to put 2-3 of each on every weapon I own, and I would actually look at putting some EoRD mods on some weapons. (EOR attack I think are still mostly underwhelming outside of very niche scenarios and low level battling.)
That way even if you have 100% uptime of the the blessing themselves, they still have a hard drop off from the rate itself. And you could even leave Rose as is and people that really never want to get frozen.stolen can try to load up on rose mods to keep better coverage.

indica @ 02/5/24 5:17 am while throwing my pets at the egg-dropping opponents, i noticed a couple of the medium opponents didn't drop any eggs - erdoo, waradorstiltskin, and possessed mattieu. battled erdoo at least one more time on a different pet to see if that was a fluke, no eggs - intentional or missed opponents in the egg sweep?
