Since I got into gardening, my favorite flower is the Zinnia

I'm allergic to almost everything. But I can have roses in the house for a couple of days before dying. I have a kind I like the most, though! Pink and yellows called 'Peace Roses'.

For this week, my favorite flowers are camellias, especially Japanese camellias. I love both the beautiful colors and the spread of the petals, it looks like a circle fractal and I think it's beautiful ❤ Unfortunately they're not very fragrant. In terms of fragrance my favorite is definitely Lavender, it just helps so much with anxiety and feeling clean.

This is gonna sound strange, but I don't think I'm familiar enough with flowers to be able to pick a favorite? I mean, I haven't seen a lot of them outside of the internet. It's probably a result of the places I've lived in not having many green areas around and also the fact I have so far only got to experience very little of the world. I've always dreamed of living in a home someplace surrounded by more nature. We used to have some plants in our apartment when I was a kid, but sadly I don't remember what most of them were and if I had a favorite. Our apartment was actually recognizable for being the only one in a big building with plants displayed outside the window. Over the years we had less and less and in the recent years after moving we haven't had any at all. I do have to learn more about flowers (and nature in general) for the novel I'm working on. Several of my characters have deep connections with nature. I haven't had the motivation to though. It just seems a bit pointless to me to only learn from pictures and text while getting to feel nothing in real life. I'm sure that someday I will get to live in a nicer place, and someday I will finally be able to start exploring more of the world.

My favorite flowers are egret orchids, because they look like elegant birds caught mid-flight. So beautiful.
