It’s been awhile since I’ve done battle quests. Lol.

Agreeing with everyone else, lots and lots of freeze spells are most important

I'm using: Hydragellos Possessed Eye Volatile Energized Mecha Thunderball Soma Tablets Recycle Blaster (I got more bang from double blast over 2nd bomb & 2nd healer because of the amount of health he has and he doesn't seem to have a million copies of every weapon so blasting makes him easier) Sandreaver (or other ice blocker) Blessed Trident of the Banished One or Tainted Keeper Skull Staff (whatever the best wind, physical, dark or earth blocker you have. I'd probably go with TKSS over Swashbuckle because dual icons blocked are ones he uses against you. Trident is not only wind block but it's blessing rocks for this challenger) Reviver of the Lion

thanks for the tips :) Do you have tips against Kain? I only need to beat him 1 more time... but I constantly die immediately and it looks like he has so many different attacks...

If you go HERE you can use the drop box to just look for an ice blocker or any you might be looking for. Just use the drop boxes to put in what you might be looking for and what tier and it will bring all the options up. You probably already know this though.

- Hrm, I'm not sure, it's been a while since I beat him. I remember him being hard enough that I only did 10 wins instead of trying to get the extra loot at 15 and 25 wins OTL Earth and Water I think are his heaviest hitters? Double blast, if you can, to take out 2 of his weapons, you might get lucky and he uses the jump items a bunch. He can't be frozen, so switch out any freezing scrolls for blockers and healers such as Gift of the Forj, Lucky, Fatal Fire, The Void (if you have lots of AP); Cobalt Eternal and Sancturia Exodin might be useful against him, idr.

Missed when the dinosaur challengers showed up, got to grind out a handful of opponents this weekend!

it does seem v good from the stats. but so is ocean currents and now i'm not sure what to do with having both though xDD

atempause I have both, and more god/demi god spells. The same way you switch weapons, switch which you use depending on what the challenger blocks or attacks with. It's generally not a game changer for most battles but can come in handy in a tough fight to have the spell that matches the challenger best.

I also look at my default BQ set and pick the spell that blocks icons my weapons don't. Since what icons challengers use are across the range it's nice to block a little bit of as many types as you can.

Decided that this year I will finally try to spend some time to finish grinding out the rest of the challengers I haven't farmed tomes and such from yet. I've already made some progress on it this weekend along with the winter challengers.

I really want to cap my pet sometime this year, which should be doable as long as I stay on top of BQs and using boosters and such.
