I tried so hard with this wig, wasn’t particularly happy with either of the results (also the pants got revamped? I didn’t even notice until comparing the hover to the outfit. ...I personally think it looks better before, but I suppose it fits in the more typical HA style now)

Including far too many HAs here because MAN I love this item.

MY LOVE! I am FAIRLY certain that this was the first cash shop item I ever bought! And one of the few non-wearables! ...which is probably because when I was first on Subeta I thought I would create one HA and never change it.

It’s hard for me to check and see if that was the first purchase, the news is so broken in those archives, and since it’s not a collection item, I can’t easily find when it was first released. However, one thing I do remember?

My first Cash Shop purchase was made by physically mailing a check to Keith himself, listing my username and the items I wanted.

I know! No electronic payment! No paypal, no stripe, just actually check (or possibly even CASH – that detail I can’t 100% remember) mailed to an address.

For a while, I thought that this must have been a false memory, or maybe something related to Neopets because I know riiight around the last bit of time I was active with Neopets I wanted to make a purchase. But nope, it was Subeta! I wish I could remember fully exactly what I asked for. There are a few items from the January 2007 donation present that I do own that are NOT wears, so perhaps I bought a few of those? They were random at the time, so it was hard to get exactly what you wanted until they became collections where you could pick and choose. I think I probably spent $20 for the purchase, though who knows what other items were.

While I’ve mentioned before that I do enjoy randomness, such as with the 8th anniversary gift that’s also in this drop, I was very pleased when the randomness for paid items went away. There’s a difference between free random and “I paid cash and still can’t get what I want”.

(also interestingly I thought my reminisces were going to be about trunks today, as this page has a few trunk sets, but another time!)

I promise you, while it may not feel like it, I AM refraining from posting all my HAs! Even as I go about posting about items from sets, I promise that there are a bunch of pieces that I’m leaving unshow. But it’s memories that catch me which leads me to (over)share. And this page has quite a few!

We’ve got the Elaborate hair pieces now! In my opinion, only the Pisces and Libra were workable, though I tried (and failed ) with the Sagittarius at one point. Oh, looks like I got a decent one with Aquarius though! I’d forgotten about this one. OH! Even one more with the Gemini one! I thought this was the full version, but I think I used the tarzan hair with it. Forgive me for being pleased with myself that I managed to make two HAs that I still think are decent with these wigs. I only ever used the wigs one more time, when I used the simple Virgo piece – already showed that HA.

In things that I don’t recall why I did, I did make a decent number of boobs out HAs. shrugs

This ended up being a decently used wig, I actually forgot how many I made with this! Not all of them are good, mind you.
