- I went to my pain management doctor yesterday. I told her all about my experience with the bad podiatrist. She pulled up my MRI results and told me what they meant. The short version is that the tendon has a tear in it, and I shouldn't be walking on it. She gave me a referral to a different podiatrist for a second opinion on everything. She then listened to the issue I've been having with my right shoulder. She feels it'sdue to the degenerative disc disease and told me if the proceedure she was going to do in a few moments worked on my lower back then she would do it for my shoulder. She then gave me two injections of saline and a numbing agent directly into the spasmed muscles in my lower back to break up the spasm and force them to relax. The shots felt funny but today those two areas are very sore. She said that would happen, though, as the muscles needed to get rid of waste products left over from the extended spasms. She said they should feel a lot better in a few days (if it works) so keep your fingers crossed! :D - see above. :) That really sucks. :(

I wasn't aware it was available until then, Which was silly as there were books on tape. I should have realized that digital audio books existed. Oh well, I'm certainly trying to catch up now. :D

Mack is a retriver mix. I'm not sure what he fully is, I might have to do a dna test or something for him. We're going to do the bell on the door to help him tell us when he needs to go outside. He doesn't always make it and goes right by the back door lol.

Ooh, Retrievers are great dogs! Supposedly easyish to train, but potty training is always difficult. Yeah, the bell sounds like a good idea, sad he doesn't make it outside all the time. How old is he?

He will be 3 months soon, so still a puppy. He is slowly getting it and I know it will be awhile before he has it down. Yeah, he definitely has a lot of energy, so once he gets used to the leash, I will have to take both dogs out for walks more.

(I hope anyone else who needs to sees this) My cousin died yesterday or overnight, details are unclear. He was in his mid twenties I think. I obviously wasn't close to him but I'm absolutely devastated for a bunch of reasons, so I might be quiet for a bit.
