I always thought dogs were so much better than cats but my last kitty might be my favorite pet of my life. Very close tie with the rottweiler. They're both gone now and they were both such great critters! I'm a little late to ask but how did your Halloween turn out? What movie(s) did you end up watching?

LOL! I don't think the new windows are very fancy but at least they're not covered in mold and I can see out of them. Many of the old ones had a broken seal so they were clouded up. :-D

Yeah it did for me too ^^ I was so happy I got an extra hour haha, I was super paranoid that I had set the clock the wrong way and I was going to miss work but it all worked out ^^

They are great, I love my cats and I love my gecko. I think a dog would just be great though, since I go on walks a lot they would get lots of exercise :) We watched the new Scream movie, a non-horror one called "Curse of something Bridge?" I don't remember the name but it was a cute little family Halloween film and then some short horror films on youtube. It was a fun night and we had a great night

Probably not since he told me he already had the authors signature and he would rather have his action figures or comics he doesn't have already, so I'll figure out another little gift before Christmas for him :) And yeah I didn't do laundry I ended up working all day so I didn't have time but I might do it before work tomorrow since I don't work till 1 :)

I'm so glad none were close to you! We were worried about a storm (not a tornado though) we had on Friday night but it hit hard about an hour north of us. On the news I saw lots of trees on houses and there's a lot of people with their electricity still out. And it's really cold! Yikes!

- I finally listened to "Welcome to Nightvale". I listened to the "Salmon Burger" episode. That was truly an undescribable experience. I don't think I've ever been more confused or lost in a story. It seemed very disjointed and had absolutely no plot that I could discern. I think I'm just going to back away from this one slowly and try one of the other podcasts you recommended. :D <3

the thing about Welcome to Nightvale is that it's performance art, not a story, until about eight episodes in the story starts to leak through the performance art.

It's setting a scene, creating an atmosphere of weirdness, for the story to take place in, and that takes a while. It's the kind of story that doesn't make sense without the setting, so i get why they had to do it, but I didn't much like it story-free either.

I only got into listening to it because I read a really good novel-length fanfiction that was a crossover / fusion between Welcome to Nightvale and His Dark Materials book series. The fanfiction pretty much retold the whole story from the point of view of Carlos and his team, who were changed from scientists to "practical theologians" which in the HDM world was basically the same thing, I suppose. Cecil had an alethiometer. It was a very good story! So that got me past the clueless-what-is-going-on aspect.

Unfortunately I don't think an audio version of this fanfiction exists, so I doubt you could have the same benefit. So I guess I recommend you try a podcast with more story-nature for sure!

at times my fingers hurt too, but I discovered some of that is due to a worn down needle so that's helped. I'm working on the lap apron commission as well and making some Christmas pressies too. I'm taking the day off sewing tomorrow, so I'll be foucsing on the Christmas pressies :)

well my doctor told me I need to walk around because it's getting too tight... so now I'm very confused as the back of my foot is hurting but I'm trying to ignore it because, I guess it's supposed to hurt? IDK glad to help :D I did that to my island as I want it to be decorated with the mushroom items but I don't have the recipes yet. I did, after a LOT of balloon trolling, FINALLY get both the floor and wall mushroom (forest) themed things so I'm hoping I'll get the others soon. I may have to keep playing for a while and keep trolling :/

Good! It's been okay, work was so hectic, lots of being yelled at but it's a gas station it's the norm and besides the nice people make up for it and so do my coworkers :)
