Those pesky caterpillars, aphids, and all those other buggies really like the plants! I had to get rid of some pests the other day on the tomatoes I'm growing. I hope your seed pots all grow!

... i know this too... people i invite and then they don't come, or they don't want to come or they don't show up i have deleted from my FL.... after all these years I have 5 left... that's not many but rather a few you can rely on than to make a lot of effort for nothing... if I'm not important enough to the people that they keep such days or answer, then I think about them the same...

make yourself a comfortable evening... you can enjoy all that you have done for your guests... and i mean that, enjoy it.... !! have you ever had a party by yourself...? it can be really fun... don't get angry... check it off as lesson money and cross them off your FL... most people don't know what they have lost until they don't get it anymore....

ya bugs here are uually snails...damn them hahaha i fin them early in the morning aand squish them then toss them out. There are bags of ladybugs you can buy to release in yir gardens. i felt that so sad i wanted to buy them all just to set the beautiful little guys free!

i do feel that a rsvp type event should be held and the ones who say yes and are a noshow or a VERY LATE out...FUCK THEM MAN! They can be added if you ever do an Open Event..like walk through for drinks and then stay awhile and pass on through..That kind brings more friends over and is not awkward when someone wants to go home yo see. That way YOU can enjoy your opening of your home to others. But ya..the rsvp ones that bail is not right at all!!

I keep hearing ladybugs will help with the garden and I am tempted to get a bag of them for mine. The garden nursey I go to has a refrigerator of lady bugs, so i'll probably get a bag next time. I went outside and looked at two tomatoes I have already and they had ripened, but the bottom was flat instead of rounded! Also it looked like the bottoms had been eat out. I was upset.

ladybugs eat aphids. I dont know if they do more than that..probably any mites too!! plus they are sweet to look at. I am afraid here the bluejays who have no issues with taking things here will munch on my tomatoes or strawberries :) i sure hope not. i have my flowers in the ground now and the green onions and mint along with them..the strawberries and tomotoes are all in pots..but the baby seedlings coming up in their new lil pot with such hope for a good life only to be nibbled on...ouch aawww poor lil things

My dad and I worked out in the garden today. I got my flowers down in the wildflower bed and then I helped rearrange the other flower bed in the middle garden. The hubs planted the jalapeno peppers, an eggplant, and a few rows of onion starters also. The kiddo decided to play in the dirt and now doesn't want to come inside. I will have to post photos cause he is so dirty right now haha

hahha just HOSE him down...up at our cabim=n we would put the hose onto the hot water outlet on the waterheater to fill up their kiddiepool:)..so i mean not hosing down with the cold water :)

True, mine have plenty to work off of between odd jobs. The patches will look more alluring if and when fruit is ready for picking.
