Oh my god! Thanks to you guys, I was finally able to beat not 1 but 4!!!! challengers above level 20 in battle quest today. Usually I was able to beat the cursed effigy but now I managed to also beat the gate keeper, mornrise serpent and Slaughtersaurus. Surge, Saggitarius and Dean are apparently still a little too difficult to beat for me, but we will get there! ^^ Beating so many strong opponents really made me incredibly happy! So, thank you everyone for helping me achieve this! <3

Can you explain to me why increasing intelligence would be beneficial? I know that it's necessary to create scrolls but I thought that if I had a solid scroll collection already or if I just bought them instead, my pet's intelligence would not matter much. Or do you mean that it would just be comparatively cheaper to invest in books to create the scrolls myself instead of buying expensive ones?

Thank you so much for the input! I will definitely add the mod crystals according to your suggestions and will invest into additional freezing scrolls in the future. For now I will continue to use my healing scroll then. I will also do some research into defensive scrolls, already suggested a great one for fire defense. I guess it really depends on your opponent with those ones.

- The thread that ColdDragon linked is very useful, but basically the higher your pets' intelligence, the more scrolls your pet can equip. Having just one infinite use healing scroll can serve you well for most battles, but being able to equip more scrolls can make or break your battle. Freezing scrolls are probably the most useful, but there's also once per battle (OPB) healing scrolls, and OPB scrolls that block lots of damage, and OPB bomb scrolls that can be used to do extra damage etc.

What was the core requirements last time? Was it top 10 per tier or based on a set amount of damage? I need a third core, but I don't know how much effort I want to put in if there's a chance I wont get it.

I used four bombs and two constants for it, my pet only has 4000 str but it went fast, good luck!

My set kills the mini in 2-3 hits...I just wish there wasn't so much clicking....lol

U can try to press down the enter key on your keyboard once u have clicked your first turn with your mouse so u dun have to click it for the second or third times :P
