I don't often craft anything, I always forget that it's something I could be doing. Plus the leveling and the cost of some of the ingredients for some things is discouraging at times. Mostly I craft things when there's something new released, otherwise I forget

I don't use the crafting features very much for various reasons.
I occasionally have periods where I'll do baking, but eventually I'll get tired of it until I have enough to make anything I haven't made yet, or if new items are added.
I only really use Genetech for Drills quests because I'm not really into battling or making weapons from loot, I lean more towards the wearables and minions, and I'd be more inclined to do it if we had some new items cause we haven't had some in ages, or revamps because there's looooads of items from there in need of revamps. Or adding more tiers and some prizes to the achievement. In fact, that could work for the other crafting features as well, giving them tiered achievements with some prizes.
I don't use Alchemy a lot either because most of the items that aren't wearables are cheap to buy, and the ones that are wearables are expensive to make if you run out of Wearable Tokens. Maybe there could be a way to obtain more Wearable Tokens, like increasing the chances of getting them through quests from a certain NPC or something?
I also don't really make scrolls because of the battling thing, and because not all scrolls are available depending on your pet's level and it can be confusing knowing which ones are new and which ones were there already. Maybe it would be good if it could tell you if you've made a certain scroll before or not, or if you have one in your armory (without using account search, but I don't know how possible that would be).
I find Baking and Alchemy to be the most tedious out of those because of the level system. I mean, some people might like it, but it gets tiring having to make the same things over and over after a while and not earning many points towards the next level. Maybe some adjustments could be made so that you don't have to repeat as much before you unlock more items?
I do have a suggestion. Could it be possible to have Quentin give out items for gene tech combos from their quests? That could help some with the price points of certain rarer or retired items.
I really like the idea of crafting, however, I hate how crafting is done on the site. It's all guesswork and there's no crafting journal to show recipes you've already discovered. I haven't "crafted" anything in maybe a year or two because the way it is done right now isn't any fun.
I would like a window or something where it shows all the possible things I can make depending on the vendor, of course, from the materials I have available in my inventory or maybe from special storage coded into the website like the way currency can be used in special shops.
There are lots of random materials right now that are already part of the website that could be made into existing or even new items. Though by existing, I suppose only things that you can get in the ordinary Subeta shops. Like plushies or beanbags that are sold. Or maybe clothes?

I recently got back into baking because I had a huge backlog of ingredients in my vault and now I'm kind of addicted to it. I guess I wish it had some application beyond just ending up with a million cakes, but I really have no idea what that would entail, lol.
I use "crafting" quite often. I've used genetec and alchemist in the last week or so. I've sort of lost interest in baking because I've made multiple items, but would love to see it built up more. I would love to see new areas of crafting, such as jewelry or objects d'art, from Thimble and Co., Foods combined to make different dishes, or maybe add different liquors to make different types of drinks. I think the ideas could be endless.

What was the question?
Is fragging and recycling part of crafting? If so, I've been fragging daily for a while now and I only just recently started to give items to the recycle beast and now do that daily too. <3
I don't craft often. I should, but there's... it takes up a lot of inventory space, and there's no quick crafting directory the way there's a shop directory, you know? So I often forget I can.
I only craft for achievements. Almost all of the crafted items are more expensive to make than they are just to buy already made. It's also not always easy or intuitive without a guide. (Like baking is fine because I can see what I need to use, but Genetic you'd need a guide for.)
I feel like a ton of people just grind out the crafting for things like alchemy, scrolls, and baking for the experience/achievements, inflating the price of raw materials and deflating the price of the finished goods.
I've made lots of scrolls just for fun, since you can restock everything needed it's rewarding. Genetech is cool but most combos can be purchased for less than the ingredients for some reason. Don't think I've ever baked TBH.
Last time I crafted was at Genetech probably for a Major Drills quest.
I would love if there was some kind of page called Crafting that linked to all the different places we can make stuff. I tend to forget about things like alchemy and only realize when I'm looking through my wishlist for my gourmand.

i use baking the most, and i really enjoy it in concept, especially since i have a pet that's supposed to be a baker. i keep falling out of actually doing it because it's unbearably tedious. i don't mind the wait time after starting an item or even burning stuff and getting less exp, but it takes so long to level up i don't feel like hitting that next level is a satisfying achievement. it feels like i spent days baking the same item 20 times and now i can move on to baking a totally different item 25 times for the next level. fun!
i wish there was a little more variety, or at least a more subtle exp curve. being able to see how much exp i get per item and how much i need would also help, because at this point i just pick whatever is at the end of my available recipes and assume it's going to get me the most exp.
i haven't done alchemy or genetech in a while. honestly the last time i can remember using either was way back when the diamond curls and lower back wings came out, so i don't have as much input on those to offer. genetech is pretty expensive to invest in unless i really want something, and alchemy doesn't have a lot of items i want, so i don't use it much. and i haven't done any toy stuff for years; i used it exactly once to make a nostalgic pet and never again. no particular complaints about it, i had fun at the time.
Does creating Nostalgic toys count as crafting? That's the main one I've done.
Other then that, I've only done alchemist and genetech mostly, usually to get items for pet TCs...
I agree with Saarebas that more exp should be given for crafting items at the alchemist.

The only crafting I do is for Alchemy items and, occasionally, Genentech items. I’d like to have more books to craft using alchemy for reading to my pets and wearables for my HA. Genentech items are pricy for the ingredients or hard to get. I do enjoy it when I do it

I mainly do crafting activities for achievements or to get the items associated with them, but it's not something I really do super regularly. I may do a bit of it in batches, but once I have what I need/want, I don't tend to go back to it much.
It has to have been at least a year, and possibly longer, since I last crafted anything here. The things I have wanted to craft would have taken too long to level up to create and it's just not enjoyable/rewarding enough.

I think the last thing I created was the Scroll of Morosbane. Crafting, to me, is just tedious and annoying, so I generally buy what I really want. I crafted that maybe 3-6 months ago.

I make a bulk lot of alchemy items maybe once or twice a year to sell/use for Quentin’s quests.
I use the genetech lab every time Drills asks, or when I get/want a new item requiring it.
I’ve baked up to the high levels, but I’m a little over it now - the wait time puts me off bothering.
To be honest, and as someone who doesn't play often and only recently started actively playing, I had no idea you could craft stuff until I found out you could join two birds together to get a new one (love birds?), and you could join a few franken pie slices together. There's probably a couple of other things I know of, but otherwise I wouldn't have a clue what else could be "crafted" and/or where you could do crafting. I don't think it's very clear anywhere that you can craft items together. (or I would be all over that lol)
