and that's a long trip for your doc to have to do to get back to the family too!
It'll hopefully be worth all the colour changes once it's finished - it's a Northern Lights scene on black aida, so it should stand out really well.... providing I can actually get it worked on! :P
I can believe it - it sounds much like trying to tease out the ends of faux fur from a seam when you've finished sewing.... which I admit I normally skip doing, as I just don't have that much patience! 😊

yeah and if he's staying for a month, then it has to be a death in his family which he has to deal with.
ooh sounds lovely.
I'll do my best. I do have a knee scooter coming so that should help a lot.
yeah, to know it's a month that he'll be over there for, must be something like that rather than a smaller kind of family emergency
[edit] I've got your birthday present all packaged up, so hopefully Dad can take that to the post office tomorrow :D When it arrives, don't open it with anything sharp! ;)

I am glad you are getting the scooter. :)
That also sounds like a very "fun" jo indeed. Or having to deal with edges that easily fray. :K

me too and...admittedly it sounds like it might be a little fun lol. Hows the weekend going so far?
thanks :D although it's no way near as spiffy as yours!! ;)
I try to avoid anything with edges like that, unless it's something basic like a shirt that you don't need to handle much! I tried making a bear from cotton when I first started sewing and ended up with the paws starting to fray where I'd trimmed the fabric too close to the stitching without allowing for it fraying as I turned it the right way out 😊

why thank you <3 I was so happy to FINALLY get that breast plate :D I just had to go panzer
They sell something call fray check, That might work. Kinda annoying having that problem after all your work. :) That is how one learn tho, by things going slightly wrong sometimes. .)
You should find someone to race with. lol Got home now after a small barbeque at a small forest around here. with my sis and nephew. They call it the Troll skog (forest). xD

it looks perfect!! And it was definitely worth the wait for that final piece ;)
By the way, feel free to add in anything next on the rp - Alfred is being annoyingly quiet today, so I'm not too sure how he'll actually defeat his sentry :K ;)
nods I hadn't heard of it until after I'd finished that project laughs but I was able to buy the last pot of that in my local fabric shop so at least I'm ready for next time! ;)

haha then we can be roommates in the hospital eh? :P oh that sounds nice :) I think we are doing a bbq for my birthday. I love the name troll forest XD do you see many trolls
thanks I will add in sorns soon. :) and have them "keep going" and all then. :)
I'll edit mine tomorrow with how Alfred defeats his sentry, and add in his parts to the next bits then as well (hopefully!) ;) .... providing Alfred isn't quite so silent of course :P
I feel I've done nothing all day (well, nothing productive really), yet I'm still utterly zapped :K

okay. Good luck xd Aww im sorry. Though I haven’t done much either
I've edited my post with Alfred's fight - hopefully that's ok with how he defeated the sentry ;)
I love that HA - it all works perfectly together :D
But was that a good 'not much' as in you had a chance to try and rest your legs a bit at least? ;)
I think mine is still probably the after-effects of doing 'too much' on Thursday - the little bit I did yesterday then still seemed like too much even though normally it wouldn't be :K I'm hoping the doc will get back to me (I sent a letter last month, but they never received it, so I had to email it this week instead) and at least confirm what this actually is.

We would drive everyone nuts. lol
Actually someone made a troll out of wood that lives in the little forest. :D Hope you guys will have a good bbq. :)
I ordered some online to do some minor repairs. :) Seems to work pretty well so far. :)

I was recommended it to use for buttonholes, to stop the fabric fraying up to the stitching, although I've only ever tried it on a denim jacket so far - and that's not been worn much / at all yet, so I still don't know how well it works!

cheers oh thank you :D I guess a little though not much admittedly. -snugs- hopefully tomorrow will be easier for you.
haha aww that's so cute :D thanks. I hope so too lol.
ooo I love the HA-less outfit today :D :D
Did the scooter arrive yesterday?
You know that fabric (the red & blue for my Jubilee horse plushie) they said would be back in stock mid-July? They've dispatched it this morning laughs so at least it should all be here by the weekend ;)

It is pretty nice there. Places to sit, barbeque areas, a tent and other stuff. : )
I guess I will see how well it holds up after washing the clothes I have used it on. We will see.

hopefully it'll hold up to washing :D I asked a few people who I follow on Instagram ow well the fray check they'd used held up to washing.... and none of them had washed anything they'd used it on yet! :P
