The new clothes are great. I love collecting all the food for my food gallery :D Cute pet <3 Yeah time really does fly by!
That is just crazy 0_0 Facebook should be able to do something about it!
Yep. Might try for it, but doubt I would ever use the skin. I think I have only used one skin before (the rainbowy one).
I've never used the flame skin, just wanted it to get as many skins as I can. Except for the really ugly zombie skins, yuck. I don't need any food. But the new dresses are really pretty. Still have 86 more to go on the bonfire. Hoping the rreign items go down in price over the weekend.

I really wish there were more floating around. I don't seem to be "finding" that many :(
I did not know about the flame skin! I need to go through my inventory and put away things I don't want to burn to ash. I accidentally threw a wreathed item in there yesterday and lost an experimental dew.
[item=Dappled Unicorn]
[item=Great White Shark]
That's why I mentioned it, I figured not all know about throwing wreathed items in and getting burned to get the flame skin. Good luck. :) Got the charity achievement, still working on bonfire. Too bad we don't have a fireside theme.
By the way I just had a staff confirm that the richest user ranking is still broken. Doesn't look like it will be fixed any time soon as that's not a priority with everything else going on. My dashboard has said I'm the richest user for 2 years even though I know I'm not. I would just love to see what rank I'm really at.

Can't believe Thanksgiving is tomorrow! I've got a caramel apple pie to make tonight for dinner with my parents tomorrow.
I hate waiting too and I was not looking forward to sitting in the waiting room for 40 minutes while really needing the bathroom. There have been times I couldn't sleep because my nose was so stuffed up, then I couldn't get back to sleep after clearing it out. It's even worse when my nose feels like it's stuffed up but it's not.
Chris hasn't let me do any heavy lifting, even though my OB hasn't brought it up. We went through 5 boxes last night and I sat on the couch while he moved the boxes over to me. I could have gone through smaller boxes of fabric this weekend, but those aren't easy to get to at the moment. Main focus for the rest of this week is to get the kitchen and dining room tidied up for Saturday when we host the in-laws for Thanksgiving.
SPOILER (click to toggle)
They didn't smell too bad pre-pregnancy, but the bait and trapped flies don't smell too amazing right now (especially after running the dryer because the vent goes into the garage). We had a bush in front of the house that attracted flies this summer, so that got cut all the way down, but we still need to get the stump out. Yeah, that smell could be from anything. Chris does his own laundry and just throws everything in together, so it might take some convincing to get him to wash his socks in their own load.
It's super hard. There are names that I like but I know numerous people in the area with those names so I don't want to use them (which I know is kinda dumb). I've got a book of baby names that I picked up at the thrift store, need to sit down and pour over it with Chris. But Chris also said we could pick a name from my side of the family, so I'll have to dig through my genealogical research to see if there are any I like. I've heard horror stories of grandparents getting to name their grandchildren, specifically, grandmothers who pitched a fit about hating the chosen name and claiming they would call the grandchild by some other name (some parents relented, others didn't). My mom and dad haven't even offered any name suggestions, they've been really chill so far. When my sister-in-law announced her pregnancy at the 4th of July get-together at the in-laws, FIL told them if they have a girl that this one name (Helen, I think) would be a really good name because it was his grandmother's name. Yeah, he got stubborn towards the end of the scan, so I have to have another scan next month. They said everything looked fine, they just couldn't get a good look at the spine.
It's even worse when it's a bland corn shell and bland taco meat. I stopped eating at Taco Johns because the tacos were so meh. Cheese curds aren't bad cold, but fries are a big nope once they get soggy. I kinda assumed that those two things would maybe be my biggest cravings, but I haven't really wanted either of those so far...maybe curly fries from a local cafe. It's always been a nasty bathroom, at least all the toilets now work. For a while, at least one or two toilets were broken.
Thankfully, they aren't always so pushy...or maybe they always have been and the fact they are getting two grandchildren in the span of 2-3 months has made it more obvious. shrug I've had to deal with their oversharing of info since the day Chris and I got married. The ceremony had been over for maybe 20 minutes and they already posted about the wedding on Facebook. Chris and I hadn't even had time to update our profiles or make a post about it ourselves. Oh, I know the big concern is the photos getting in the hands of child pornographers, which is one reason why my profile is locked down so tight that even Google can't find it. I wouldn't be surprised if the in-laws believe that they do deserve some of the credit for getting grandchildren. And I really hope that my MIL doesn't try to call my child 'her baby' or 'her boy' (or any possessive term other than grandson) because my child is not her baby or son, that would be my husband. I already have a comeback planned if she does try that though, one that will hopefully make her embarrassed. I don't think I've ever guilt-tripped anyone into doing anything for me because I feel terrible when someone willingly pays for my stuff when I'm them and I didn't ask them to (like my mom bought my groceries a few months ago). And I think people that use the guilt-trip tactic are people who feel entitled to getting whatever they want and when that doesn't happen they retaliate to try again.
Oh, MIL also doesn't plan to help with a baby shower because Chris and I can just buy everything that we need. She may have tried to play it off as an 'I never had a baby shower' thing, but she deff had one according to the 4 pages of gifts in Chris's baby book. The in-laws also told us that they didn't need to info for our baby registry because no one on their side of the family needed to look at it/everyone already knows what they're gifting. One of Chris's aunts asked me for our baby registry last week, so so much for the in-law's claim.
I'm not looking forward to this Saturday because I have a feeling she may try to take over before the meal, and I know she's going to be butthurt when we don't do a prayer (neither Chris nor I are very religious anymore). Yeah, she started implementing the games about 5 or 6 years ago. Last year, Chris tried to just end the game with a pocket knife but his mom got angry. I don't know what it is about her family and weird games at Christmas, because they an odd game for the get-together with Chris's grandpa too (bring a gift in a plain paper bag that would be something you would get for yourself but would be hard for everyone else to guess it was yours. All bags go in the center of the room, each person picks one and then everyone tries to guess who brought it. The gifts go back to the people who brought them, so they shouldn't even be called gifts). If you want to play games on Christmas, just play a board game. I don't get why we have to have such awful games at the in-laws. My parents used to do that on Christmas eve on the way home from the Christmas eve service. I might see if Chris would want to do that this year because I wouldn't mind seeing who else in town decorates their house. You'd think the in-laws would want to drive around town to see the lights since they live in a larger city...nope, they only care about the large tree in a park that gets lit up after Thanksgiving.
I haven't been given an updated due date by my OB yet, but all of baby's measurements were coming out to 21 weeks 4 days, or 22 weeks. So if my due date moves, I need to make sure that the in-laws don't find out. I haven't toured the labor ward yet so I don't know for sure, but if they keep newborns in the room with mom and never take them out of the room (except for emergencies/NICU), then I could see why they wouldn't have a dedicated room for a nursery. Thanks, I'll at least try breastfeeding, give it solid try. The students that observed two of my appointments seemed rather nervous and uncomfortable to be there. Yeah, I don't want any extra people staring at me, it'll make me nervous.
It's super helpful. No more surprise visitors, I know when packages are delivered, and I know when Chris gets home from work. Ugh, yes, they always pick the worst time. I can believe that, and I won't be surprised if my MIL calls me selfish next year if she doesn't get to hold the baby immediately.
There's a gas station about 10 minutes away that has gas priced at $2.99, but I don't want to drive that far just to get cheaper fuel. If gas prices stay just as crazy next year, it's just another reason for Chris and I to stay home more often after baby is born.
Oh yeah, and I can't even undo their 'repair job' without further damaging the book, plus it pretty much has no value right now besides the family connection. I'm kinda sad that I had to miss out on Chris going off on his parents...it would have been pretty nice to see.
Hey, everyone. How are you all today? I had to be home from work because my coworker decided to show up yesterday even though she had been exposed. Super frustrating.

I can't believe Thanksgiving is tomorrow AND December is a week from today. Wow. Just finished the bonfire achievement. Guess you don't get anything for that. Darn. Also surprised that the token shop hasn't stocked the pitcher to make harvest potions. I don't need one but expected them to stock it.

I will have to edit this later. Today I am just all over the place!
Oh no :( that is terrible! I hope you and everyone else that was around her will be alright hugs
Hopefully they will stock it before the event is over.

If they're going to stock the pitcher they'll have to do it fairly soon since the bonfire has to still be active. I can't remember, we throw a glade potion into the bonfire right? Which means you have to wait to make the glade potion. Since I got both achievements I fragged the rest of the cheap food I had stashed and I'm vaulting the red rreign items I find now for next year. Surprised we don't get anything for the bonfire achievement like the charity one gives a book.

I am honestly not all right. I thought I was negative but I feel worse tonight.

Oh yeah I always forget about making a glade potion first. I made a harvest one, but I already had the glade potion. Don't you get the theme from the burning items? Maybe they figured that was a good enough prize?
Oh no :( I am so sorry to hear that hugs
I am too. I really am disappointed with my coworker for coming to work after having been exposed.

What theme? The Autumn one? It must have been from a past lower tier bonfire achievement because I've had that for a long time. When they increased the charity achievement they added books as prizes. But apparently nothing for the bonfire, which cost more. Oh well, looking forward to luminaire next week. :)

I don't blame you!! People need to learn when to just stay home!
Yeah that one. I think it is from tossing in 1000 items. The bonfire doesn't cost anything though. I just toss in what I find around the site. OMG I still can't believe it is almost Dec 0_0
YAY! New challengers!!!
I spent a lot on red rreign items to toss into the bonfire, it cost me a small fortune. Oh wow 4 completely brand new opponents. :) Exciting and tiring. Takes a long time to battle multiple opponents with 20+ pets. The banner loot is interesting since you can "use" them to get other items. Cool. Do any Sharkies need a buddy acount?
CWs for Sale or Trade https://subeta.net/user_shops.php/shop/24266
I am not buying any of them, but I might end up just buying any items I am missing. I will have to double check my list. Lol that is way too much clicking for me.
New animals in the chance machine. But I see that it costs 100CSC, so the usual price is 200CSC? Never used the chance machine before. I don't think I'd pay 200CSC.

I'm still a little miffed that fireside is so short this year. So much has been going on, with irl holidays and then throw fireside and subeta's BF on top of that, hoo. This is the first time I've been on my computer since tuesday, just been trying to do stuff on my phone. Hope you've had a good weekend.
I finally bit the bullet and bought , :D might as well with all the other stuff I threw in my cart.. You've found a Hidden Opponent! Meatslab, the Resting challenges you to a fight in the Battle Coliseum! I'm so excited to do this. And the 4 new fireside challengers have awesome art!!!! Sadly my second battle pet can't touch the most powerful one.
edit:

Unlocked Tenderized!
Defeat Meatslab, the Resting 10 times!
You've found a Hidden Opponent! Meatslab, the Awakened challenges you to a fight in the Battle Coliseum!
Unlocked Marinated! Defeat Meatslab, the Awakened 10 times!
You've found a Hidden Opponent! Meatslab, the Furious challenges you to a fight in the Battle Coliseum!
so close but yet so far... Kicked my butt on the first battle.
Thanks! I'm not sure, I didn't think of that haha
Ooh, nice! Congrats on the new challenger. I forget what is usually recommended for him, but I think I was able to do it with Maniacal Essence and by borrowing someone else's Cronus Blade before making my own. You could borrow mine at some point if you want, just let me know! I think you only need to get to 5 wins to get what you need to make your own Cronus.
Things have been good for me too! But yeah, pretty busy. I feel like I haven't really done much for Fireside either lol, but I was able to get the items I needed. And yes I LOVE the new challengers, it's such a cool theme! I'm glad they finally took the suggestion to go with the ren faire kind of route this year, it was pretty neat with the items and the challengers.
Now to look forward to Luminaire and seeing the new Melody items every day haha.
