I have a 45 minute drive to get to the hospital, so I go to the bathroom before I leave and then drink water on the way. My ultrasound was an hour before my OB appointment, but I got checked in early, so my ultrasound started earlier and was over by 8:45. My OB appointment wasn't until 9:30, so I thought I'd be suffering for quite a while before I could finally go to the bathroom, but I ended up seeing my OB earlier too. I have another ultrasound next month because they couldn't get a good image of the spine. I'm going to see if they can print out an ultrasound picture that says 'it's a boy' that we can use for an announcement. I've been waking up with a stuffy nose for years and it's super annoying now, it would be nice to wake up one morning with a clear nose.
hugs Thanks, trying my best. I wanted to work downstairs this weekend, but Chris is gone for drill and I know he would be upset if I moved heavy boxes by myself. I'll stick to vacuuming the bedroom and stairs.

It's so annoying. Last week, I mentioned that the garage smells odd and Chris asked if it was a musty smell...no it smells worse than that. Figured out it was the fly traps he hung up to catch the flies that were pestering him while he worked. I don't think it's the laundry soap because I use it too and none of my clothes have the same smell. Not sure about the deodorant but when he puts it on at night it doesn't have that scent. I'm wondering if it's maybe from his socks when they're all tossed in the hamper together and then the washer together. He doesn't even notice that it smells weird so other people probably don't notice either. Hopefully, my nose doesn't pick up that smell anymore next year. It's so weird when I roll over to my right side early at night and the heartburn starts but as soon as I roll back to my left side, it's gone. It makes sense if it's putting the sphincter between the esophagus and the stomach at a higher point than the rest of the stomach. I haven't chewed gum much since the first trimester. I'd chew gum to get rid of nausea and sometimes end up with heartburn.
Now to start looking for a boy name we both like. And I hope my inlaws don't give name suggestions next weekend, because I will tell them that grandparents don't get to pick the name. Mine did not want a picture taken of his face, he was covering it with both hands. Then he refused to move, so there were some other images they couldn't get very well.
Me too! I love the Dorito shells because they add more flavor, the other shells are too bland now. Before I got pregnant, Chris told me that if I ever had specific cravings that required driving to get food, he was dragging me along with him, which is understandable (and I get the food while it's warm). I'm just glad the food cravings aren't along the lines of 'I need the food now!' The bathroom in the mall is probably germ-covered for the way it smells, I use it as a last resort.
It would be so nice if we could tell them 'no, don't do this' and have them listen but they only partially listen. I really should have pushed back more when they kept asking Chris if I had posted the initial announcement and then told him to tell me to post it soon. At that time, I'd told them they couldn't share the news until I had shared it myself. I already know that when the baby is born, we'll have to give the in-laws another reminder about not posting it on Facebook. On one hand, it's kinda creepy and weird to have people I've never met know I'm having a child or know specific details about my child and on the other hand, I know they're sharing the info for attention. MIL loves to guilt trip, I think it's one of the main tactics she uses to get her way. She'll have to realize sooner or later that the needs of my child come way before her wants as a grandmother and if that means she doesn't get to live out her fantasy...so be it.
MIL pretty much just announces when she's hosting for the holidays, there's never really been a discussion. When Chris and I were dating, she never asked what day worked to get together for a holiday, it was just a 'we're getting together for Easter on Sunday, be here at this time.' In the almost 10 years Chris and I have been together, I've spent Easter with my family three times, and one of those times my parents drove to the in-laws. Even when she started working at Walmart and two of her sons were married, she would just pick a day that worked for her and FIL and give us a time to be there. The worst was when Chris was deployed and she assumed that I would travel two hours to spend Christmas with them instead of my parents. She gets passive-aggressive if she can't see all her children at Thanksgiving or Christmas. And pouts when she discovers we hate the 'games' she preps for us to play (cheap prizes wrapped in plastic wrap with cash or gift card in the center that you try to unwrap while someone rolls a die or gift card in a box wrapped in layers of wrapping paper (unwrapped wearing oven mitts while the person next to you rolls a die for a certain number). If she drags either of those 'games' along next month, I'm pulling out a pocket knife (and told Chris he should too) and making quick work of it.
My phone will be in my bag on silent. Chris will probably have his in his pocket on vibrate, but I don't expect him to pull it out if he gets a call or text. I would not put it above my MIL to think that her need for updates trumps me. I almost just don't want to tell them for a few weeks after birth, but I know they'll start asking as soon as it gets closer to the due date. Chris is already annoyed that his mom asks for updates after each OB appointment. I told him the solution is to not tell her when my next appointment is, then she can't keep asking...or just tell her it's info she doesn't need to know. I don't know for sure, but I think even if I have a c-section, the baby will stay in the room with me because it sounds like the hospital I'm delivering at doesn't even have a nursery anymore. I haven't completely decided if I'm going to breastfeed or not, depends on how sensitive/painful things are. At two of my OB appointments, I've been introduced to student doctors that were shadowing my OB, but there wasn't one at my latest appointment. Fingers crossed there won't be any at delivery.
It's so nice having the sensor. I know when mail has been delivered and now people can't pull into our driveway to turn around unnoticed. I don't think FIL even notices/registers her selfishness. They pretty much act like they have the perfect marriage.
I'd love to go on drives through the country around here to just get out of the house, but I don't want to fuel up my pickup all the time.
Oh, Chris asked me a few days ago if his parents ever got the old book fixed that they youngest ruined. He never knew that I got it back because they made sure he wasn't paying attention when they gave it to me. I told him how they fixed it and he said they snuck it to me because they knew he would have gone off on the piss-poor repair job they did.
Glad you were able to get in early and get it over with! I hate waiting around. Especially when it comes to a doc appointment. Yeah having a stuffy nose is a total pain!

Ugh I bet those things smell terrible :( We have a fly problem sometimes because of the dumpster being so close! It is awful during the summer. It could be anything really, Maybe experiment a little by washing his socks by themselves or something. yeah it is weird how just laying in a different position can affect our body in different ways.
Picking names can be so hard! I don't blame you. I had a friend and his mother picked out all the names for the grandkids. Why? I will never understand why they just rolled over and let her do it! That is something so personal that should only be done between the two parents. Grandparents (or anyone else) should not have a say! Awe another stubborn baby lol.
Exactly! I want more then just a bland corn taste. Lol that is funny, but you are right! It is deff better to have it while it is fresh! Thankfully I never had urgent cravings either. Ewww :( the very last resort!
They are so pushy! Sorry you have to deal with that. I know they would be stomping on my very last nerve!! It isn't just creepy. There are a lot of crazy people out there that you have to watch out for! It is weird how some people think that if their child does something it means they have done it too! You are your hubby are the ones having a baby, not them! They act like they deserve credit/attention for it :( I have never like people who use guilt to get what they want!
I would say that it surprises me the way she just takes over, but it doesn't even surprise me a tiny bit. That sounds horrible and boring! Thankfully my family has never played games like that. We just stuff our faces and watch tv. For Christmas I always take Emily out driving around to look at all the lights and decorations.
I don't blame you at all. I would want to put it off as long as possible too! Oh wow! No nursery at all? Things sure have changed a lot. Some things you just have to play by ear. I thought I would be breastfeeding, but that plan went out the window. fingers crossed for you! I wouldn't want any students just hanging around gawking at me.
It sounds very helpful! I would want one just to know when the pizza guy gets there. They always show up right when I decide to risk it and run to the bathroom! The most selfish people are never self aware about how selfish they are. They always see everyone else as being selfish!!
Gas prices are crazy. I used to be able to fill my tank with $20 and now that barely gets me half. It is deff keeping stuck at home more.
Dang that is really low. They did do a really bad job of getting it "fixed"!
Not really in to the things on Fireside, burning, making pies, whatever, because there is usually only a few items I really want and it's easier just to buy them later when prices go down. Hoping they have some nice stuff this year. Only achievements for Fireside I don't have are donating food and giving stuff to red rreign.

Btw... in case anyone doesn't know... you could always donate a huge stack by clicking on the item and hitting enter like 40 times or whatever before the page loads. Every year I check by doing it just twice to make sure it is working. Just saying. Saves tons of time.
Wow, between bonfire, pumpkins and food donations it takes a lot of time and work. Glad I stashed lots of cheap food in my vault all year. I haven't even looked at the pumpkins in my vault yet. I like some of the new wearables especially the new dresses.

I haven't checked the items yet. I was in the middle of questing. And then realized my Unsorted Holiday shop was packed with uncategorized moro stuff from 2 yrs ago... so moved all of the to a category to more easily track the Fireside stuff. facepalm
I did find myself a working Custom CSS code to trap the floating items in the upper left corner of the screen, since the one I was using broke.
That is about all I've done for Fireside thus far. lol
Do any Sharkies need pumpkins? Only achievements I need are bonfire and charity so have pumpkins in my vault.

2189/2500 red rreign items in the bonfire. It will take a couple years to get this achievement as I've used all the rreign items from my vault and the new ones are too expensive to toss in. Still working on charity. Glad I've been stashing cheap food in my vault all year.

Happy Fireside!! Charitable 3,096 / 3,500 Not sure I will keep going after I get all the new items. I already have the prizes for the next two tiers.
I'm almost there I was shocked. I'm at 2426/2500. I wait to get doubles of all the floating items. Then I start burning them. I have to go through my vault to see if I have anything worth burning too.
Happy Fireside! I'm at 2380/2500. I may stop after the second prize tier because the 3rd and 4th are the same.
ETA: Got the last achievement for the bonfire. I had a lot more burnable rreign items than I thought...

Probably. Just not sure when. I already have a glass pitcher and a harvest potion in my vault. I just haven't figured out who I'm going to potion.

I think I finally have all the new Charity items, so I am just going to work on the bonfire items :D If the last two tiers had new items, then I would have kept going. I thought I had a pitcher. I guess I better look for it lol.

~ Fireside is going well so far. I forgot I had so many plushies tucked away in my vault, so now I have all the tiers for burning for the bonfire. That really sucks for your friend. I'm glad you are helping them out.

I don't need all of the event items, just the few I like for wardrobe or gallery. Just trying for the achievements. So far no sticker, plushie or food achievements thank goodness. Is everybody ready for Subeta black Friday tomorrow? I used to buy a lot of stuff but not the last couple years since I usually already have what I want from having bought it when it came out. So will see how it goes and what they have. The bonfire achievement is going to take longer because red rreign items cost more than cheap food. Don't like the new harvest pets. There's too much stuff on them and it's hard to see the pet. I wouldn't have known what they were if it wasn't posted. I only have 1 harvest pet, jollin, and you can see the pet easily. Is everybody getting what they want/need? Isn't black friday starting today? Was expecting a news post last night.

I am super glad it's going good so far <3 And I am loving the new clothing items <3 I am slowly working on getting the new pretty items. I haven't really focused on food aspects for any of my pets, mostly books for my one main pet I'm using to battle and such with. I'm thinking of focusing on that aspect on two of the pets, truthfully. I created xAria in reference to my Hubby (his name is Rosario, he goes by Rusty, but I call him Ario) but Ario seemed to be taken at the time. Hubby finds it "cute, sweet" that I named a virtual pet after him. Especially once I showed him she's a Bloodred Telenine (he's a US Army veteran and he loves dogs/wolves). XD
I can't either! 0_0 My brother also turns 20 yrs old on Thursday. I'm 20 years older than him and he's making me feel freakin' old. lol ^^; And my oldest son turned 13 yrs old yesterday, which also makes me feel old. Even tho I know I'm not that old (30), it just feels like it. . . xD;

Do all Sharkies know there is an achievement for getting burned by the Rreign and you can get burned by giving him a wreathed item. And if you get burned 100 times you get the flame skin.
