We've had lots of snow here over the past couple of weeks. Snow is so pretty!! I wish it had've snowed over Christmas though! All the lights, which are almost all gone now, are beautiful with the snow to reflect the light.

We had a little snow last weekend but then the sun came out. Been just cold ever since. Brr.

Hmm, need to either get another pet or give 1 up to make an even number. The Chibi torrey is adorable but can't think of a good name. Any Sharkies need a buddy GA? Ugh, snowballs hasn't been around long and I'm already tired of throwing them at myself. Only have 21K out of 50K. This is going to take years to get the achievement. Wish they would make them wearable, I'd be wearing the icy snowball all winter. :)

Happy belated birthday !

Twice now, I've gotten rid of things that became useable. First was the scrap notes from the Survival plot, the second was wearable candy canes that became food two days after I sold them. hugs I've got one of Pistachio's favorite toys sitting on my desk now, and his basket that he always slept in. I need to get a picture printed off and put in a frame so it can join the picture I have of my grandmother's dog. It's really weird going to my parents' house and not having Pistaschio enter a room. I'm leaning towards keeping the vibrant irion, I just need to find a name that would work. I'd also have no issue adopting out the vibrant manchu if anyone wanted him.

Here in Kansas, you call 811. We called them before we built the fence the first time and the gas company told us they can't find where the line runs between the house and the meter because whatever they lay down with the pipe to find it later, rotted away. Our house was built in the 70s, so I guess the gas company doesn't keep records from that far back. We also have rocks spread around a tree in the front yard that has thin white plastic underneath. I don't know why they put rock there because the grass is growing just fine. Makes it a pain to mow until we get the rocks removed because our mower has chucked a rock from the tree all the way to the porch. I practically roll out of bed and sit on the floor now, then I have to pull myself up. I'm gonna have to figure out an easier way to roll over in bed soon because my hips get so mad. I'm glad that my kitchen counters are low because I can rest my stomach on them when I'm at the sink or need to grab something out of a cabinet! Ooh, hadn't even thought about Teddy becoming a nickname. We decided to go with William David because it rolls off the tongue easier and it's a nice-sounding name. Chris had asked his mom when his great-grandparent's middle names were (he had drill a few weeks ago and stopped by to replace some lights), and they used the mother's maiden name as a middle name. She also gave Chris a first name suggestion so she obviously thinks it's ok to give name suggestions if I'm not present. I guess Chris was thinking of having David as the first name because he said he thought about using his dad's middle name as our kid's middle name, but he didn't really like it. I think some people like to see how far back they can trace their family and some run into issues with the last name's being changed upon entering the states because they got misspelled or misheard. There's no way I would fork over that kind of money for genealogical research because my motivation for it comes in spurts. I do wonder if some people use the membership to research other families/create trees for people they aren't related to. I'm no longer having a baby shower. My mom knows that a majority of the people on my list won't attend because they haven't even been going to church and she didn't want to rent out the church basement and only have 5 people show up. Kinda bummed, but I get it. So instead, she's going to take Chris and I out to lunch on a weekend and then go shopping for baby stuff. She assumes that friends will still buy off the registry and that others will give us gifts after the baby is here. Now I have to figure out if I share a link to the registry on Facebook or if I just have Chris email it to his side of the family. Exactly, if she says one thing, I'm going to take it at face value and assume that's exactly what she means. If she gets upset because she meant differently, then that's on her. Thanks :) I tried to include some different options of things, but I did kinda get carried away once I found cute stuff! Anything ordered off the registry should go to us if the option to ship it to us was selected. I didn't pay any attention to what the options were when Chris ordered the car seat/stroller combo off our registry and I really should have. Same, there is so much more stuff now than there was when I was a baby, and a lot of seems really expensive. I've found mobiles on Amazon for over $50 and I doubt they were that expensive in the 90s. Yeah, we were going to get a crib from Target but they then stopped selling the one we liked and half the stuff I had on a registry went out of stock for months. We got together for D&D at BILs house yesterday. MIL came along with the youngest and also brought the dog, whose leg tumor has gotten bigger and the dog doesn't listen at all now. It was suggested we host D&D in March, and I straight away said the dog cannot be in our house. MIL ignored that and jumped straight to talking about how she would watch BIL & SIL's baby (who'd be almost 2 months) while we played and my SIL said, I'll probably leave the baby with my mom because we've got stuff there. The youngest is a junior in high school, at a large school (2000+ total students). He's got one more year of high school and the in-laws seem to think he'll be able to graduate a semester early. I'd have to look through my baby pictures to see if I have any pictures with Santa. I'm not sure if I do. I could maybe talk my dad into dressing up as Santa. He grows a beard every winter now and we wouldn't have to worry about dealing with a fake beard on Chris. Exactly, the in-laws should just be focusing on welcoming two grandkids to the family in the span of a few months. Why waste the energy hoping for a specific gender, they're just going to disappoint themselves. I agree, any pictures taken in the hospital should be kept between the parents. I don't want any pictures taken of me while I'm in labor, I already know I won't like looking at them. Most of the babies probably just want to sleep instead of getting set up for a photo. They were all warm and cozy and now there's all these people around them. It seems like the correct thing to do for babies changes constantly and I haven't even looked into everything. I don't know what the recommended sleep position is currently. Your mom may have put all the positive focus of that date being your birthday so she could be happier about the day. That's probably what I would end up doing. I told Chris last night that I don't want his little brother holding our baby and he said 'no problem', I think he agreed quickly because he knows I can't stand his little brother. The in-laws will be the ones to fuss because they'll probably want pictures of him holding our baby.

The last time I used Icy Hot, I felt it get warm once then nothing, but that may have been because mine was expired. I use Tiger Balm now or just heating pads. It's a comfy office chair, even has a pull-out footrest, but it was deff a splurge. We'll be using these until they are falling apart. That's always a concern of mine when watching a movie at the theater. What happens if I don't like it? Do I suffer because tickets weren't cheap or do I leave? To be honest, I kinda forgot about The Eternals too. I've only glanced over some rumors online about a 4th Iron Man movie. One rumor believes Tony Stark uploaded his consciousness into an AI. The other thing I read was that the 4th movie would also explore the multiverse and we would see Stark from a different timeline, played by Tom Cruise. I haven't really done any further digging because there isn't an IMDB page for the movie yet.

Baby Registries are fun. I let my college besties help me put it together and they were hilarious. SO MANY stuffed animals on the list, lol. Once I had my first son, my husband started DMing so we could host it at our place. I would take nursing breaks when he was super little and no one cared (his BIL was already a Dad to 2 kids at that point) and the other players we had known for years).

I think the next Iron Man is going to be a girl. It's early and I have not had my coffee yet, but I do believe they are setting up for that with Easter Eggs. I can come back after I've discussed with my husband and checked my sources.

Yeah that has happened to me quite a few times!! Old stuff becoming useful later on is kind of annoying sometimes. Oh geeze that must be frustrating. You have to be so careful!! Oh no! You deff don't want to get hit with a flying rock or have a window broken. I remember sliding off the couch onto my knees and then using the nearest table to haul myself up off the floor lol. Yep sometimes you just need a little help holding up the little one! When I was pregnant the best thing I ever got myself was a huggy pillow. A nice big body pillow that I slept with every night (and still do!) I lay on one side and prop my other leg up on it. Made it so much easier to sleep! It is amazing all the nicknames people will come up with! Oh that is a great name :D I am not surprised she would give suggestions when you are not around. Kinda sneaky! Yeah I am not paying that kind of money to find out about some people I will never actually know. I am too cheap for that lol. It seems a little creepy to snoop around in someone elses family history. Awe sorry to hear about the shower, but you might be better off in the long run. No stress and more money to spend on the baby :D I always love shopping for baby stuff. All the cute little clothes and everything <3 You could always do both just to make sure people can find it. Everyone should say what they mean! My Mother is like that and I hate it. She will say something to upset me and then say "oh that is not what I meant!" like I am supposed to know that what she said isn't what she "meant". Just say what you actually mean! It is very easy to get carried away when it comes to baby stuff. Who can resist the cuteness? Yeah prices of everything have gone crazy. Target is really annoying sometimes. Sounds like that poor dog is in very bad shape :( which will make their behaviour even worse. Which is understandable, but they really need to take that into consideration. Be grateful, happy and enjoy every second they get to spend with them because the time flies by fast!! Yeah I never understood how people can film that! I was in so much pain and so uncomfortable. I don't need pics or video to remind me of it! The poor little babies just want to be wrapped up like a burrito and left alone to sleep! "Experts" are always coming up with something new. I have no clue either. I haven't had to worry about it in a long time. That probably is what she did. Still a crazy day to be born on out of all 365 days of the year lol. If they make a fuss about wanting a pic of the brother holding the baby, just tell them that is what photoshop is for lol! They can make their own pic.

I would love that <3 Being trapped in a movie theater is deff worse then watching a bad movie at home. Those tickets are so expensive now. Especially if you buy any kind of snack. Tom Cruise???? OMG why? That would be a hard pass for me! I want RDJ as Tony and no one else. I am very picky! The whole thing just seems crazy to me and is just another reason why it was stupid of them to kill him off!!! Yes I am still bitter about that lol.

Hey and Hi everyone! It is snowing like crazy here! Supposed to snow for the next day or two.

It's been fun setting up mine, but I've had to force hubby to help (mostly just checking if some stuff was necessary). I have a lot of items on the registry but a majority of them are decently priced. My husband offered to DM a Strixhaven campaign online for our group so that way no one needed to travel and my SIL could actually play or sit out to take care of her little one. We're taking a break this month then continuing the current campaign in March, hopefully early in the month. Then I assume we'll probably take another break in April before making further plans. I haven't really done any digging into the rumors that I saw. It may be that the rumors I came across are geared towards Dr. Strange and the Multiverse.

I'd think I'd have learned by now to not get rid of something that looks like food or a book. But then I get tired of it sitting around gathering virtual dust. Thanks ❤ He was going to either be named Pistachio (I somehow got there from half a 'stache) or Rambo (rambunctious little kitten), but my dad and I agreed on Pistachio. The only things I have from my dog Bandit are one of her rabies tags and a sweater she wore when she got older. I don't have anything of Pepper except pictures. Lately, I've been using the names of my D&D characters, but I only have 4.

It's frustrating for Chris because he wants to put a bigger basement window in the nursery, but that window is located right next to where the gas line enters the house. Chris had his car parked in front of the garage at the time. I'm just glad the rock didn't hit a window (car or house) neither would have been cheap to replace. I've used the cat tree to pull myself up off the floor at night, and if Chris is home, he helps me get up off the couch. I bought a C-shaped pregnancy pillow 2 months in hoping it would help with hip pain. I realized a few nights ago that I need the solid part of the pillow against my back and the opening part at the front because it was putting too much pressure on me. I'm not sure yet if I'll use it post-pregnancy. Have to wait and see if I can get by with my old pillow. Thanks :)I'm not surprised either but it would be nice if she would just follow requests for once. I find it kind of interesting to see where my family came from centuries ago, but I'm not going to fork out a bunch of money for info. It is creepy, but during one of my online searches, I found a website where someone had my family tree for both my mom and dad's side and they weren't related to me at all. They had a bunch of other family trees on their website too. That site's gone now, so I have a feeling it got reported. I don't mind shopping for baby stuff, but I do balk at some of the prices like Target had 2 pairs of newborn pants for $8. I've seen some cute clothes at Walmart, Baby Yoda and Winnie the Pooh themed. I haven't shared the registry on Facebook yet, I can't think of a way to share it that doesn't come across as greedy. It would be so much easier if people just said what they meant the first time around. Don't say it in some cryptic or vague way. There are so many cute onesies and blankets out there! She is. She stumbled walking into BIL's house last weekend, but Chris has said his parents aren't going to spend the money to put her down even if it would be better for her. IF MIL heard what my SIL said, she did a good job pretending she didn't hear it. SIL and BIL had their little one earlier this week and just announced it on Facebook today. MIL and FIL waited 5 minutes before they each made their own separate FB post announcing the birth, using the same photo and tagging each other but not BIL and SIL. MIL replied to a comment on her post to an extended family member, saying she hopes that person can meet this one and his cousin (mine) soon. Lady, who do you think you are planning when people get to meet your grandchildren? FIL's post was full of cringe, announcing the weight and measurement and saying he was introducing his new best friend....way to not make it obvious that favoritism is already being played. Then in the comments of his post, extended family members are pointing out that the first name is a family name of some grandmother. eyeroll I've already decided that MIL & FIL are going to hate me when my child is here because I won't let them post on Facebook to get attention for something they played very little part in, and I'll shatter MIL planned grandma fantasy. I have no idea because I highly doubt he passed his math class last semester. I think it's because Chris and his other brother graduated early. Yes, that would make it even more special. I wonder how much a Santa costume costs? I bet those fake beards are so scratchy too! BIL and SIL had a boy earlier this week. I told Chris that I wish his parents would feel embarrassed for how they acted, but I know they won't be, but Chris knows that if we or BIL/SIL try for another kid later, his parents will be 10x worse hoping for a girl. Yeah, photos of labor are not something I really want to keep in an album and look back at later. Exactly, and it's all the moms want too. Yeah. I'm sure before I leave the hospital I'll have learned all the right/suggested ways to do things. The odds of that are crazy. Now if I had my kid on the in-law's wedding anniversary, I'd never hear the end of how they got their greatest gift ever. Yup, they can either photoshop the photo they want or deal with not getting it, because mom and dad make the rules. I also don't feel comfortable with FIL having a photo of my kid up in his work office for people I don't know to see. That's the main reason he forced everyone to take pictures at Christmas...he wanted updated photos to hang up in his office.

I've found Tiger Balm at Walmart and Walgreens, but I can't remember the price. It's also been a while since I've used it because it's not on the approved list of medications to use while pregnant. The footrest on my office chair has been a lifesaver lately, makes it easier to lounge back and give my tummy some space. ❤ The rumor about Tom Cruise as Iron Man may be tied in to the second Dr. Strange movie (which doesn't have a complete IMDB page either). I haven't watched any movie with Tom Cruise in it and I just can't picture him at Stark. RDJ was perfect for the role and brought it to life.

Is nobody throwing snowballs? Just wondering because the only ones I've been hit with were the Icy ones I throw at myself. And I'm getting tired of doing that. Not even close to the next tier 25K. Wish it was easier. :(

I will never learn that lesson lol! I just get tired of seeing the same old junk laying around and get rid of it. Especially if I want to buy something new and need the sp! I don't have anything :( we pretty much lost everything in a fire when I was a kid. Sucks, but I just had to move on and make new memories :) I need to go through book characters that I like and see if I missed any SW names.

Hopefully that will be stopped before the kids are old enough to understand. People on social media can be so cringey! You do what is best for your family, and they will just have to deal with it! Math is just awful! It has gotten 10000xs worse since I was in school! All this "new" math is just crazy! You should be able to find a santa suit on amazon or something. I never priced them, but hopefully they wont be too much. Yeah those beards do look scratchy. Thankfully the person wont have to wear it for very long. They should feel embarrassed, but people like that never do :( They should keep those hopes to themselves! I am sure I was just a big old cranky, sweaty mess! No one needs a photo of that lol. The nurses and docs will make sure to let you know. It is always so much better after you get home from the hospital. I know the nurses are amazing and mean well, but sometimes they make it seem like you are borrowing their baby 0_0 I would want to do something and basically be told I wasn't allowed to. I think they are always worried about a lawsuit if something goes wrong. Oh you really don't want a baby on their day! I don't blame you. Baby pics should be kept mostly private. Showing a pic isn't so bad, but displaying it all the time like is kinda iffy.

I have a walgreens close by, so I will check there to see if they have it. Oh I forgot about that list! I remember getting a cold and only being able to take kids medicine. It was pretty useless! Hopefully it is just a weird rumor. I am not a TC fan at all! Yes RDJ was perfect! Sexy and snarky! Loved him <3
