Oh man :( I'd trade you a little of our heat for some cooler temperatures. Today isn't as bad since we are overcast but it still got to be almost 90F. Due to the warm temps and high humidity, we have been getting heavy thunder & lightning storms each afternoon. It's nice while it rains but then the humidity gets even worse :(

I have been spending a lot of time in the garden these days. New flowers keep popping up everyday. :)

Hi! <3 This is the place. I think we've all just been swamped. I keep meaning to check in so I'm glad you did!

What kinds of things do you grow? I'm spending as much time in my garden too. I picked the first golden zuc and green beans! Sadly, my flowers aren't super happy this year. It's been a weird one of hot and cold and I think the last cold sort of stunted them. :(

I had my sage die on me over the winter. I still have my variegated sage but we didn't cook with that one. I just like the mix of purple, green and white on the leaves of that sage. Basically my garden is flowers but there's scapes, green onions, gooseberry, red current, rhubarb, horse radish, and other herbs in the garden. This year I'm trying out peas, for the flowers mostly, as I haven't had much luck with them. We had a really warm early spring. Then it got cool again and snowed once. I think you and I have the same weather. Now it's more like spring but everything is a little out of sorts.

So glad you both are still gardening. It's just too hot here for me to attempt anything at this moment :( I have some plants used to the weather here but only one is edible (the pepper plant) lol. I have a friend who is working on trading with someone else to get me a persimmon tree. I can't wait! :) I love persimmons and can only hope my non-green thumb won't foul it up.

I've kinda been poking around Subeta lately but nothing too deep. I played a few days of Vesnali. I hope you are all having a nice summer/winter (I don't know where yall live). I'm off work until Wednesday, then I work through Saturday until I'm off work for a ten-day vacation. I'll play Subeta a bit I imagine but I'm looking forward to the Steam summer sale... I may lose interest in Subeta pretty quickly again lol.

Sad news, a week ago tonight I lost my thirteen-year-old dog. Her name was Hera and you can see a picture of her on my profile by clicking her name. I'm done grieving but our home will never be the same without her. I still sometimes find myself looking for her. Sad times.

thank you for your condolences, my friends. Hopefully either this Monday or next we will be able to pick up her remains. We're going to mix some ashes in with soil and plant something in my late dog's name.

Eva--- I am having a bit of time with Project Hail Mary and at 30% it finally got a bit more interesting, but I haven't had a chance to pick it up since then. If you've never read The Martian or Artemis (also by Andy Weir), I would recommend either of those before Project Hail Mary based on what I've read so far.

I don't have to work again until July 7th and that's awesome because I hate my job.

I haven't had a chance to read any of those but I will make sure to follow your recommendation. I am currently in a rut and trying to get my motivation back. I recently picked up at a used bookstore an original cover copy of Queen of the Damned (one of my favs). Although it's pages are yellowed with time, I just thought it was a neat find since I've never seen one in person and a company just bought the rights to a lot of Anne Rice's books so there will be shows coming out. I'm interested in seeing how they turn out and just hope they don't butcher any of them.

How are y'all doing? Ready for the quest-a-thon? I hope I can manage 100 quests.I know it's not a lot but sometimes it's hard for me to get on regularly! Guess we'll see!

It's time for the 2021 Secret Santa! I'm happy to give it a go as people still want to join in. There are a few rules we've pulled together over the time we've done this. These are just to help things run smoothly:

1. You need to create a wishlist of 20-25 items (it can be more or less) of items that cost no more than 1million sp in the player shops. Try to include a range of prices but we do this so that those who have limited play time thanks RL commitments can still get you something you want.
2. Don't feel you have to stick to the Chatterbox Wish List. This is just a starting point to help out. If you want to gift something that costs more than 1 million sp, go for it! :) Just don't expect your Secret Santa to be able to do the same.
3. Whatever you get, it needs to be something on your Secret Santa's Wish List. You can choose anything from any of their Wish lists, not just the chatterbox Secret Santa list. While there are a lot of wonderful items on Subeta, we're sticking to the ones our Secret Santas want. Please don't send random items.
4. Unless they cost around 1 million sp in the player shops, no Cash Shop items. Not everyone can afford to spend real money on this, especailly at this time of the year. If you want to send Cash Shop items your Secret Santa wants, go for it. But don't expect others to be able to afford to do the same.
5. If you have a concern or complaint, please let me know and I will try to sort the problem out. I can't promise fast, but I do read all the messages I get and I will try to put it right.

You have until November the 15th to sign up and gather your chosen wishlists together. I know some of you signed up on the Trick or Treat thread but thanks to my getting snowballed by RL last week I've lost track of people. From what I remember: , , , and have all signed up along wiht a couple of others whose usernames I can find. (Sorry!) If you can let me know I'll get the list together and send out the names as soon as I can after sign ups close. :)

It would be great if you could set up a SS thread separate, just for SS. A place where we can post our thanks to our SS and such. Oh, and I'm on the list for SS. :)
