The new post limit shut down our old thread. I know we're all dancing like everyone's watching right now, but here's a place to come back to when our feet get tired. <3
Warm days have come to my corner of the south, and I'm working on getting a garden in. I live in town so it's not a huge one but I'm really excited about it because I use pallet wood and did it all myself!
How are you guys?

That's good to hear!! Things have been good as usual here. The pandemic is still pretty bad so I've been staying at home.
It's still pretty chilly in the mornings and I live in the North (Well, Southern Canada). Here, it won't warm up until late May π but I do see flowers blooming and trees growing fresh leaves already :)
I grew up in Alaska, so I am always delighted with it being warmer earlier than I was used to up there! I used to feel so anxious watching all the other places turning green and we still had piles of snow until mid-late may. hehe! I can grow year round here with just a bit of a cover on the coldest days and it's amazing but so very different!
We're staying home a lot too. It's getting better here, but I don't want to take a lot of risks so we stay outside most of the time and pretty much the only time I go out is for groceries. I hope it improves there soon. We've all been home for so long. <3
Aww, shucks. I appreciate you opening a new thread, thank you! I will miss the old one. I wish we had a list of birthdays somewhere because I feel like I always miss someone's and I don't mean to :(
I am proud of you. I'm sure your garden will be amazing :) I hope you get a huge crop this year. Do you can/preserve anything?
Hiya!! How are you doing?

You're from Canada too? I'm in Ontario and my garden has sprung into life early! Most of my neighbours have already cut their grass and cleaned their garden at the end of March, when we had a hot spell. Then it snowed and has been more seasonal Spring temps since. XD
I haven't touched my garden or grass yet. Protect them bugs and other critters I say. We have a rabbit living under our branch pile in the back (been there all winter too), a chipmunk under the front walkway (been there for a couple of years now), and bee houses set up on the property too. :) Next...BAT HOUSES.
Omg that's amazing!! :o Haha yea, definitely, especially for people who enjoys gardening, the earlier the warm weather arrives the better xD
Yea, the only times when we go out is groceries too, and exercising. We need the fresh air!
The pandemic didn't affect me greatly because I'm an introvert who likes staying at home XD
Hiya!! I'm not too bad, how about you? Anything new?
Omg yes!!! Ontario too! Yea we had that snow too, but thankfully our flowers are still "standing" XD I feel you live close to me xD
I probably do.
The Stay at Home order hasn't been too hard on me either because I'm an introvert too. Doesn't mean I'm not impatiently waiting to get outside and clean up my garden though...but I must wait until the May two four weekend!
I'm in the Niagara Region too. Not The Falls, closer to Welland.
...I live in the town to the North of Welland lskdjlkf, Thorold Let's meet up
Ikr
I never have thought somebody would live near me xDD
You'd be surprised! There was a Subeta meet up in Toronto at the Island a few years back and there was a good bunch of people there.
Wait for real??!!! XDD omg XD i'm beyond surprised π The most I can think of is two or three people meeting together, and for a brief time xDD
IKR! lol
I was surprised too. It was a cool day so maybe there's even more of us out there. 0.0
True! I mean I'm not surprised at all if I do find subetans living in big cities like Toronto, but it's a shock to find someone living kilometers away from me π and we all live in towns xD
SPOILER (click to toggle)
We might've past each other irl without knowing.... :o
It's crazy but yes... I used to shop all over the Niagara Region. Now I don't. :(
