Mine was, since the beginning. Though my interest had been based on the cartoon until the mid-2000's when I started playing the pinball games on GBA. I also collected cards for a few years, but never got into the TCG games. Sword and Y have been the only traditional Pokemon games played so far.

Carl gave me a today. That was my first time seeing one. I doubt I'd ever want a Cadogre, but I'll hang on to it just in case!

I love the idea of TCG and have bought many packs for many different games but never do anything more with them than enjoy the art for a while, then pass them on to the charity shop.

I gave my collection to a niece, who later told me several were quite valuable. I think she kept them... I know a GBC game exists that teaches the basic of the TCG, and a modern board games does the same

[Edit] 5/5 The final exam is to be issued tonight, I would do well to brush up on my books and homework before making a first attempt.

I also saw that Snap is now available in hard copy, for $10 less than a digital copy. Both have advantages, as well as drawbacks. I can weigh in before grades are issued.

Its not a matter of luck, a student who is diligent with classwork has only to rely on their knowledge and experience. I have just one shop, if one is programmed for the week.

[Edit] The final exam was posted just before tonight's class. We reviewed the questions and have one week, the exam is limited to two attempts. I'll wait until morning, when I'm refreshed.

My thoughts on such wish as "good luck": that the questions be based on knowledge and not opinion, which could be very different than the instructor's. That had happened in college for me in some cases. Also, one class that graded on a bell-curve, I got a B because I was above the median score, but the actual % of what I got correct was in the 40s. Opposite this, I got a C in another class when I had scored in the high 80s, because most of the 600 students also scored that. Sign that the prof taught well? That skewed the bell curve?

Next Friday is my brother's 71st birthday; his wife organized a surprise birthday so it's all good. And tomorrow we are having a little "Thanksgiving" meal for the baby Yuval who was born a preemie so there is a lot of rejoicing :)

I was using that phrase in the conventional meaning of "I hope you do well", not saying that you needed preternatural help --I followed it up with a comment on your diligence, which should have shown that I had confidence in your ability.. :)

I did well enough for this first attempt, an 82. I know some answers are inconsistent with the instructor's key, some questions have points credited. I would like to try again, after the weekend.

Tomorrow's last shop is open, I may ask for a follow-up to last week's alignment. I may stay to assist any other student.

Come Monday I'll begin my self imposed routine of chores to pass time until my license exam and Fall Semester. With the summer like days I need to keep indoors from 10:00 to 16:00, that's when I take on my slew of activities or chores. Rocksmith, my Switch games, writing, and practice drawing. Three months may allow progress, if I can stick to my plan.

Slim pickings questing today, no amulets or Morty Cards. Just a lot of restocking fluff, no fragging today.

[Edit] 5/9 This day my friend surprised me with his latest find, a Pontiac Fiero GT. He asked me to help him with identifying the engine, which was locked inside the rear trunk. When opened, we saw two surprises, it's a four cylinder, and is "The Iron Duke". This means the car will be spared from dismantling, and is fodder for restoration. Least to say my friend is excited, this old treasure is among his favorite sport cars. I have a feeling this could make for many weekends of careful handling, I look forward to hearing this classic growl.
