I have been bust today also, so I couldn't so much as set up my desk to make an attempt. I better understand when people say they don't have time.
I am going to try drawing a little bit now.

It's so beautiful! her statement: "You can't wait until life isn't hard anymore before you decide to be happy" OH MY!!!! I am crying! I know Simon from BGT as well as AGT, I just got caught up in the middle of a conversation, I didn't see where it started.
How did it go?
I love your HA!
Good to hear.
It's good, I am just getting old I guess. Way before I am ready!
Which 2 outta 3 are you today?
I loved that, too! That's why I made it my signature.

I saw an interesting post about forgiveness. I didn't tap like or try to keep it in mind. I do remember the quote, "You can forgive someone, yet still deny them acces to you." Words to die by, imo.
Posting here beats talking to the walls. Its gotten to feel like when I resumed playing, the fly on the wall.
I'd post my progress on the Dragon model, but imgur isn't updating on my tablet. I had been able to work out wings much in the way originally imagined. I can try to put this up when I log on a different device.
In light of my lack of opportunity to draw, I've set up my work station to begin according to my still open schedule.
Words to reject with also. There is such a thing as too late, case in point...
The image is a B/W shot of an old lady walking away. Her coat is the only colored item, red incidentally.
I don't believe forgiveness can ever come too late. It is not for the other person, but for ourselves. Healing can begin with forgiveness.
Not in this "life", it'll take far more...
hope to see your art soon. I am going to start drawing right now I think.

I hear what you are saying. It can't come soon enough, in my opinion. ❤
my main talent is needle felting. I like to create wool sculptures and I'm slowly teaching myself to do 2D portraits as well. I also enjoy painting, but I usually follow a pattern. I can sew as well. I've made a few quilts, and I've also made garb for renaissance faires. I used to sew teddy bears and other stuffed animals. Last year I managed to sew a ton of face masks for lots of friends and family.
My current needle felting project is a 3D sculpt of Red XIII from Final Fantasy 7. I'm trying something new and can't seem to figure out what I'm doing wrong. The end of his tail is a flame, and I bought a pack of micro LED lights along with a pack of battery holders with wiring. The goal is to make the end of his tail glow like it's a flame. I've been trying to solder the wires to the LED leads, but once I solder them, the light won't turn on. If I 'dry connect' the wires, it lights up. I don't know if the solder is messing up the connection or what... I'm kinda frustrated right now. I don't have enough knowledge with soldering and electronics to know what I'm doing, to be honest, lol. I just put it down for now and I'll try again later.
If you're interested, I can PM you some of my works that I've done.
Love that inspirational quote!!
how special to have a recipe from your great grandmother! That makes it even more special! ❤
Yes it is! And the memories of making things with her, are even more so. ❤
That is so cool. I would love to learn how to do something like needle felting. I will have to look into it! Also sewing is something I would like to try again. I got so frustrated with it the first time I was trying to learn, because I am a little impatient. Lol. I am really amazed by the amount of patience you have! It must have been hard making ren faire garb and quilts!
That sounds really indepth! I don't know much about soldering in general, unfortunately, but I hope you figure out what is going on!
I would love a PM showcasing some of the art you have completed! It is always great to see others creations! :)
