Goodnight, ladies I'll be on after my exam tomorrow. I'll phone in the verdict.
: I will keep you in my prayers my dear.
: Hiya! I looking at pictures from Ein Prat Nature Reserve of the Wadi Qelt and it reminds me of the Merced River near Wawona here in California and I just have to wonder if there are fish hiding in some of the deeper places of the stream. Now, granted, Wadi Qelt is much lower than Wawona, near Yosemite, but surly water is water, correct? And fish love water and there are insects and algae and water plants for the fish to feed on. If weldon and I come to Israel on of these days, I'm bringing my ash spear and my little fishing skirt and I'm going to catch a fish and we can eat it by a camp fire under the stars! Weldon is a great cook and makes any little fish I catch taste great.
How are you doing? I'm reading about your village and I find it very interesting, very historical and associated with some fascinating cultural history.
HUGE hugs. The wadi has some fish, usually REALLY small ones, like smaller than your thumbnail. Nibblers. I think when you come we will take you to the shuk (open market) and you can fish from there... ;)
I hope all went well.

:D

This turned out much different than expected... I didn't have to take an exam at all. It seems my license was reinstated since before my decision to come. Meaning I already have my driving privilege, but needed to update my file to be issued my new credentials. I paid the fee and have my paper copy for now. Mine having lunch with my cousin and will pass on the news to my friends and whomever else hasn't been notified.
My prize is still to be claimed, I have to show my friend the card before he turns over the Lego Dodge Charger.
I can slack some tonight, I'll be off for now. Jack n Coke are calling.
WOOHOO!!! Well that was a lovely surprise! Congrats!! ♥♥HUGS♥♥
That's wonderful news for sure My Friend. I see a Lego Dodge Charger coming your way in the future hahaha 😉 Abrazos :D

Thank you for the praise, I got just as much out here. Tomorrow is business as usual. The pile of sticks and logs are waiting for annihilation, and resume my pastimes.
: Congratulations! I'm very happy for you!
: Oh, I love Market! Is your Shuk a barter or cash system (ours is cashless, we better for goods and services. For example, I have my own Market Garden where I grow rare herbals and vegetables that bring a good price in Market so that I can trade for little items for myself, whereas, our large farm brings huge quantities of barley to Market in trade for Poppy's Famous Wheezle Brew which is served in Healer's Hall to the staff for their evening meals. A creature could barter to perform a job in exchange for food or clothing. ) I would love to go fishing in The Shuk! I imagine there's all kinds of great things to eat too! I love falafel, kanafeh and zalabiya. I could eat my weight in Halva. Is there music and dancing? Welly and I are trying to figure out if we can mail ourselves in packages to places we want to visit. Welly wants to go to Australia to visit too.
Maybe if you and Welly could paste yourself on a collage or something, I am sure you could mail yourself here.
Going Fishing!!! 🐟
Now is when I need my fat wedge, some of the larger trunks and root balls make for tough driving. My set can make slow progress, but narrow and medium can get stuck before the piece is fully separated.
I'll do what I can this afternoon, along with a round of watering my cactus patches. Some flowers have dropped, suggesting the coming harvest.
[Edit] 5/29 I saw something along the lines of good news. In some places here masks are not required for individuals who are vaccinated. I suppose if I'm to exercise this I should carry my vaccination card. I also found my fat wedge, time to split trunks.
I feel all warm (=appreciated) and hugged :-)
No eating-sized fish in the wadi here. There is only rain in Israel from October to April, even less than that here in the Judean Desert. No big species can survive, but we do have little nibblers and some crabs and frogs.
Sigh.... it so good to be here when I am here. It's like a cyber living room where my friends are hanging out!
So nice to hear about your license! That is one concern you can be rid of! Yay! Israel is removing the mask restrictions as of June 1st. I hope this plague is truly behind us. I hope they don't require non-vaccinated people to waer masks; that would lead to terrible actions with the high tempers we have in the Middle East...
Remember when we (with ) were talking about building a barge...? We were going to pick up a whole slew of people... That would have been so nice! I think we need to restart those plans! Sadly we didn't win the Israeli lottery that got up to $24,000,000 last night. That would have been a good beginning... :P
[edit] You tossed your into the rift and a moment of calm is followed by a flash of red lightning, before the rift shoots out Woohoo!!!!
Back to day 1 at the bathhouse.... sigh...
Hmm, Tempest descended on me twice the last hour... neither time did I get the themed border.
Had I known the underlying situation, I'd have my license a year ago. Go figure.
you lucky dude! I haven't seen any trace of the Tempest, for over three weeks! I sure hope out truly is random, and not some cumulative thing..
: I would love to explore the stream, even if to see the little nibblers. While your little goy weasel-shikse will eat non-kosher, she would be polite and refrain from doing so as a blessing and in honor of her hosts...so the crabs and frogs would be safe. In the world of California, we call nibblers, "bait." (giggle)
Sadly, I also didn't win our local weekend lottery this week. The prize was a gallon of Mrs Mertz's famous naturally fermented pickles. I was sure I was the shoe-in to win. I had put my name in the hat five times! (It costs a fresh bird egg to enter your name! Shoot!) The winner was my big cousin Bosco Wheezle, the Master Fisher and every one of those pickles will be gone before I can go over to his house and pry the crock from his fat fingers! That guy can put away the produce!
: I would love to take a barge to everybody's house.
Ah yes, I got Rocksmith to download onto my laptop. I may as well start it up to see if it works offline. I suppose the first step before making my profile on the game, is to clean and prepare my bass while the old thing warms up.
Al over mine room, on tables and the floor are strewn the various activities to occupy my indoor time. The Eeveelution puzzle, my Lego figure elements, and some notebooks to writing/drawing. I have yet to resume reading the vegetarian cookbook.
What a weekend! Hoping you all are having a nice week so far....and wishing you all the best, as it unfolds.
I'm sorry y'all that I've been missing this last month. We had some water damage and have had contractor working on it since last November. They demo my bathroom at that time but hadn't gotten back to us until middle of April. afternoon put in something with Better Business Bureau about them. We had to box up both den and living room so they could lay new carpet. I still have my computer boxed up so I'm on my Kindle. Very hard for me to do Subeta on this thing. I will try to check in some so nobody worries. And get someone to hook up my computer. Miss y'all and happy Vesnali
Life is short... Count your Blessings, Love your family and friends and lend a helping hand whenever you can!

Here's a small bit of good news. A few minutes ago my brother called to announce that his daughter was born today. So for a few days he'll be attending this, and he'll be around back during the weekend.
I would hope this can allow him to see that from this day forward shouldering responsibility isn't something for the faint of heart. That takes courage, being a father.
