Correct, our temperature at this time is 95F, and full sun. I'm sitting the day to attend my Zoom meeting, but I can march out after around 19:00( 21:00 Subeta time).
Unlocked Hit the Jackpot!! Win the Slots Jackpot!
Congratulations! You won the grand jackpot of 166530 sP!
Phew! That's 5th win done...I have the title now! Lol
What a relief! Some clouds rolled in to shade the afternoon, and an odd serenity has calmed my troubled mind. I can march outside to hammer out some remaining physical tension, plus listen to my jobsite Bluetooth speaker blare some tunes.
I'll scatter my flowers on you ladies after sunset, plus bake some cookies to go with some ice cream I'm going to offer a friend for tomorrow.
That seems awfully hot for late spring! We've not hit much over 80° yet, and for the most part it's been a really cool spring, luckily. Stay cool -- and I'll take some of those cookies with ice cream! 😆
Congrats!
They love when I bring dessert, and are in for a treat when it's cactus fruit sorbet and vanilla ice cream. And it's typical spring temperature in a desert, come summer, it'll be that at night.
Good morning my Dears!
, I love this dress! I would love to be like Edna White, Dolly Jones or Alison Balsom, who are my hero’s, and sing and play my trumpet before appreciative crowds wearing a gorgeous dress like this. Thank you so very much!
A few tasks on my list the next days, my license exam is in two days. Just review the manual and postpone all else until after.
For now I'm updating Rocksmith to try out when time allows.
You did it! You win:
1 Carnival Ticket!
Surprise! You also get this old trick or treat item:
Moth Bug Crunch
AND THEN AGAIN
You pop the balloon and out falls:
1 Carnival Ticket
and 7,575 sP
Surprise! You also get this old trick or treat item:
Blue Ghost Pop
That's Ring Toss and Balloon Pop...and I've done several other wins too but that's the only time I got them at the same time...lol
I enjoy playing those two! I've only been here less than two years, so most of the treats are still new to me, too.
- when Drills ask me to do it I get nada...when I do it off my own back I win a bunch of prizes...LOL
: I sure hope you don't do what I did when I went to study for my Journey Level I Healer's exams! I stole my Master's private journals and had to translate not only the Badger Runes she had written them in, but she had used three layers of substitution cyphertext. It took me five days to break the code, and I learned nothing that helped me pass my test. And I got banished to the fields for nine months weeding radishes and picking wheat and cotton. So don't do that! I know you'll do good! Just relax and enjoy what you've already learned...You've got this! Hey, I eventually became the Master, so will you, right? Of course right!
Not to be blunt, some punishment! Me and my brothers did something like that every summer, school break, and weekend.
We did that for thirty years, it was our duty.
I appreciate your confidence, only one person didn't seem phased the first time I passed. That was me mum...
: Your point is well made and I agree. I didn't learn the lesson my Master thought I should learn. I loved the hard sweaty work, it kept my little ADHD brain occupied! I earned enough food allowances so that my father could retire from the Carpenter's Guild a year early. I got strong enough that when it came time for me to learn weapons, I could pull a bowstring and swing a short-sword, weapons my kind usually couldn't use. My back and legs were strong enough for me to carry a pack on a 300 mile journey during my quest to the Mojave Dessert. But I was unaware of all that as it was happening.
I loved the normal-everyday creatures who worked in the fields with me and I learned compassion, teamwork, and true companionship. I bathed in the creek every night with them (epic water fights for control of the one bar of rock-hard soap), ate plenty of simple, tasty, hot brown food and slept in a hammock in a shed with 40 other girls...you get close. Good days were when you got paid with a new set of work clothes (new underthingies!! Woohoo!), bad days were when one of your team had finished paying off her debt and left to go home.
No, my Master was the one who suffered the punishment she had inflicted upon me. She stood there every day on the veranda of Healer's Hall gazing out over the hundreds of acres of Healer's Vale trying to catch a glimpse of the not-so-white-anymore little weasel-girl who was stripped bare to her waist in the heat of the hot Central Sierra Nevada foothill Summer, blissfully hoeing Johnson grass weeds, humming one of the old songs, her stupid silly grin on her face totally aware of how beautiful the world was and blissfully unaware of how miserable she was supposed to be. My Master often cried herself to sleep at night wondering if she did the right thing sending her favorite healer's apprentice out in the fields.
I may be the Queen of my tribe and Master Healer now, but I love getting my paws dirty out there in the fields when an extra paw is needed (much to the shock and horror of the Farm Manager! Ha!) or getting down on my knees to scrub the baseboards of the Surgery or slather on a coat of whitewash in the Accident and Emergency wards. On those days, I let somebody else be Queen. That job can be a pain in the ass, hoeing weeds is easy! ( did I actually say ass? My mother is going to kill me...heehee!)
You're mum sounds like a wise person who knows and trusts your abilities. It's good to have folks like that as your cheering section!
I can study some today, and also the hours before my exam. Drum it in until need be.
Got the been eyeing them since mentioned some time ago.
: Ooooh! Congratulations on the TailLash card! I updated my collection last week and now I've only got expensive ones to capture. I think I may have even updated my Wishlist too, but I can't remember back that far. I know I updated Madison's booklist...Holy Moly some of the books she wants are expensive.
Not unlike my wishlist, some are CWs so they may be difficult to get. I may someday put a price on it, this card.
My progress on my Eeveelution puzzle is steady, the last two days spent on Eevee, Vaporeon, and Sylveon. This after a week of separating the pieces. I can see already it would be bigger than the table I wanted to set it on, instead I'll glue it together and frame it to hang on my wall.
ohhhhhh puzzles! It has been so long since I have put together one like that! Makes me want to get one! So excited you are getting to take your exam! I know you will come through it with flying colors!! ❤
