Just want to make sure, I had the delicate strain and it was progressing too but now gone, and I’ve started a new strain, if we don’t report having this issue will we still get the strain that we missed or does every one need to fill out a form?

Didn't get my Magical skin. :-( Trying Pointy this time.
They have backups of the user data and what strains they had originally. You shouldn't need to report anything :)
I signed up for Magical and got paired with an infection specialist yesterday. This morning my avatar was gone. THIS HAPPENED HERE TOO. I was in like the 4th stage :( and yet Im infected with something else now? Im confused....

I'm noticing some people have managed to get their skins for their first strains, but I've yet to get my Magical skin (Currently on Pointy). Just wondering if others have had this issue as well that they haven't received their first skin.

<p>We&;re going to give everyone CSC & extend the holiday once we&;ve got this sorted, and are aiming for another update tomorrow afternoon (it&;s a jewish hoiday tonight!)
There would be a lot less confusion and tickets being submitted if staff would have made an announcement or news post addressing the bug. That would have cleared things up a lot faster than replies buried in a long topic during holiday lag.

Lost my Pointy virus this morning. Are we supposed to start it again? Or start a different one? A little clarity would be helpful here....
per Keith, go for a new strain, they allegedly have a backup of who had what strain before they vanished, and are working to get them to everyone.
My Pointy is lost too ;_; Didn't get notification it has finished progressing and it's not unlocked in the wardrobe. Bummer.

Mine still isn't in the wardrobe for me (I made it to stage 5 of Grainy, I think it was lost when I reached what was supposed to be stage 6), I hope there will be a news post today that explains what's going on to people who don't read the forums, and to also announce the names. Will we get alerts when the skins have been added for us?

<p>You can sign up for another strain, which will get the ball rolling on a second infection. I&;m going to talk to and today about how we can make sure these second strains get put in the wardrobe and how to retroactively give the other ones.</p>

Not quite the same as missing out on the skin, but my strain never took place: signed up and paid for Grainy; just double checked and I no longer get the page where Gunner says to just wait for the notification.

Just popping in to say that it looks like I'm having the same issue - I should be at the final stage for Magical by now (it was at the second-to-last one and close to updating the last time I checked in yesterday evening), but now it's neither showing on my avatar nor did it unlock in my wardrobe (and I didn't get a notification for it reaching its final stage either).
- Thank you for quoting those posts! This definitely should've gotten an announcement post, I agree. Hopefully the issue can be resolved soon, though. 😥
