TWO PINGS IN ONE MORNING!
You may see some items being accepted and looking 'glitchy' or needing to be fixed. and I are trying to troubleshoot the queue issues this AM :) I'll be fixing them, but please don't be alarmed (quite yet at least)!
Hi hi, just wanted to note that the approvals are leaving massive gaps sometimes now. The first one I'm counting (since the last one before that was probably last night at ID 237979) was ID 238062, the next was 238087 (25 IDs later), the one after is 238091, then 238094, then 238096, then finally one in order at 238097. I know it doesn't really hurt anything but it is really wonky.
It's not going to stop leaving gaps. It's because we've been testing this literally all day and have to keep accepting and deleting glitching items. You're going to see massive gaps until everything is fixed and likely after that, too. It's going to be the new norm.
(I've been trouble shooting this since 10 AM and still can't accept CWs at 7 PM, so that's how my day is going!)
Ah okay, that makes sense. My brain was like...that's such a weird big gap and it didn't occur to me that it's because you're removing the broken stuff headdesk
Also I really do hope you get a break and rest soon. I appreciate you guys working so hard to fix it but I feel deeply for you staring at a screen dealing with frustrations for so long :(
Sorry for the multiple pings today, it's been a doozy.
and I spent basically hours today trying to trouble shoot why the queue won't let me accept items a lot of the times now. We've tested and broken a lot of things today, haha. Keith is going to be working on getting an updated script in that will hopefully fix the problem for good.
A few of you managed to get some acceptances in today, but unfortunately I have had to delete a LOT of glitched items today. We have to call it a night for now.
Luckily, I've been able to go in and clear out denials whenever I can, so that is going to make things super easy. Once it's working, I'll even be able to do acceptances from my phone. As soon as I know the system is fixed and stable, I'll be going through to do the acceptances. Even if it means doing them on my lunch break, or on Thanksgiving -- I promise, I'll get them done for you as soon as I can.

(oh, one other thing: the CW directory is broken on at least the first page. This is my fault, sort of. There's a glitched item from testing that I can't seem to get to, so I'm waiting for to hunt it down and take care of it!)

So is it possible to have a landing page for the CW directory that doesn't just instantly show the newest items, this could stop the directory from going completely white when an item on the first page bugs out. I spend a bit of time in the directory and even with an item screwing it up if you can get past page 1 everything else is fine. Maybe even if it redirects to page 2 or something?

yeah, this has been a weird problem as well and I'm not sure why. I know eventually got an event for one of hers but it took a lot of refreshes. I'm not sure if it's 100% related to all of this but I passed it on to .
that is actually a GREAT Idea. I mean ideally we wouldn't need it if WE CAN FIX EVERYTHING 100% but glitches are always a possibility! I'll speak with and see if that's an option!

Awesome! It'll be great if they can fix it for good for now a work around like that could relieve some pressure off them from the user base :D Thank you so much for looking into this <3
thank you for the head's up ;__; so that means the few we did get through didn't actually get through all the way. sobs We'll keep trying and hopefully have them fully functional soon!

I just realized that I seem to be having the same problem as , where my newly approved isn't available for pricing in my shop. 😮 It looks like you are already on top of the issue, but I just wanted to let you know that it wasn't an isolated incident. :) Thank you for working so hard on this issue and for keeping us updated over the past few weeks; it must be super frustrating for you! <3
Don't you dare worry about this during your lunch on Tday. Bad enough you got to work that day, let alone two jobs. Surely we can wait until evening or the next day. :hugs:
If this continues to persist as an issue, since I think a lot of us have things we wanna try and have accepted for the sale, would it be possible to extend the discount sale at all if we aren’t able to get our things on site by then? I wanna hope it’s all fixed by then but I also just wanna hope we can make sure we can all take advantage of that sale.
yeah yours was one of 4 or 5 items that got "accepted"! We have the list of them so it is definitely on our radar.
I meant my lunch break on other days! I am off on Thursday, no worries :) but thank you for looking out for me!
this issue should be fixed long before then, but if it's not we'll make sure the sale happens when it is and change/extend dates if necessary.

Hello lovelies! As many of you have probably noticed, CWs are going through! Although we're not sure if we have the issue 100% fixed, and I have a work-around/backup plan in case things get weird again. For now, however, we're hoping things continue to go smoothly!
Another important thing is that events should be working again for acceptances! Somehow this line of code got deleted for releasers only (we have NO idea how), so Bug added it back tonight. I've heard some people chatting that they're getting events again, so hopefully that continues :)
I've gone through quite a few items tonight! I'm stopping for now because I have the early on-call shift at work tomorrow and there are sick kitties that need our help, holiday or no! However, as promised, I will be working on the queue some tomorrow as well and trying to get things back to normal.
