If you don't get to this because of work or because it'll be covered in another update, it's fine. But I did want to ask if submitting things direct-to-shop is still going to have the 1K CSC surcharge, or if that's been decided yet?

Just a little teaser update for you guys today, but I sort of let it slip doing the queue today so I thought I'd let you all know!
With the update to the CW system, you will be allowed to submit facial feature replacing 'makeup'! Like eyes, and lips, and noses!
(No, you cannot start submitting them early now. You need to wait until the update! But you can certainly start creating them now in anticipation!)
Oooh! That's some exciting news =O I have a few old CWs that were for contests back when that was the only way we could do facial features. I'll have to spiff them back up for release ;)
Also I am super excited because this really opens the door to a lot of creativity and diversity. :) I am so thrilled to see what people produce. I feel like this is going to be what I end up spending a lot of my csc on in the future haha.

I think I'm about to cry from joy. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS CHANGE! I had commissioned eyes years ago that were disallowed due to that rule that can now be submitted! <3 ;__; ty!!!

This is such great news, thank you! Does this mean it will also be okay now to submit plain bird beaks without a mask feature? Or other animal mouths? I just wanted to clarify before getting too excited! xD

Yes! Things that cover the head will be allowed now as well, but please note they'll be considered base edits and not makeup (this will be clearly indicated in the new system!)
This is SUPER exciting news - I can never get enough lips, eyes, etc. So happy about this!
