The moon has moonquakes!

Fact:Americans think of it as the man on the moon, while Japanese people think it's a rabbit (usagi), which is (bonus fact) the name of Sailor Moon in the Japanese manga and anime.

It will take 3 years of non stop pedaling to the moon!

Guess I'll have to try it at some point

i love the Moon! for my final year of uni studies i based my jewellery collections off inspiration from the Moon, and Heliostarcxus' name is based loosely off a couple of the names of people who have had craters on the Moon named after them ^^ fun fact! the line of light/shadow that passes across the Moon's surface is called the terminator :D (not at all some kind of evil robot from the future :P )

and these Moon stamps which were lucky enough to get picked to be exhibited in the Powerhouse Museum as part of a competition and major jewellery exhibition! i wear these ones quite a bit (except for the 9ct white gold one, top right, i'm not game enough lol) although the silver one, bottom right, is needing minor repairs after it fell off when i was leaving work and it got a little smooshed because it got driven over DX i was so happy just to find it, i thought i'd lost it for good!)
