I have this weird thing where I don't like even innocuous bugs crawling on me because the sensation is so weird and I don't know if they'll choose to dark up my arm all of a sudden. For that same reason, I don't like the idea of a praying mantis on me. The feeling of them walking on me kinda creeps me out a little. But I'll totally hold a stick with a praying mantis on it!

What was the best party or event you've ever attended?

My personal answer: Sadly, I've never been at a real festival before, so when it comes to parties, one of the house parties hosted by my former housemates and I was pretty cool. 120ish people, bar, lights, brownies, beer bong, several visits by the ambulance, landlord being called by the neighbors who then instead of giving us hell decided to join in on a round of beer pong xD Another legendary night was when a friend and I decided to go to a Dutch city to celebrate red hair day. Neither one of us has red hair. My friend just got really drunk and we went out to party there. At the end of the night the DJ was only playing songs for us because we were having the time of our lives. Furthermore, carnival is always my favourite time of the year since it's soooo much fun 😍

A forum group here, huggles...I inserted myself there in 2015. The person who contributed to my staying befriended me, if I made any impact with her it was to the point where if I'm gone so is she.

In recent memory the best event I've attended has been a music festival in 2018, Electric Enchantment. Those people don't know how to drink. 4.5% alcohol...pansies!

If you could change anything about subeta, what would you do?

My personal answer: I would make the wardrobe feature work perfectly on mobile. And I would create a magically self-updating database for all CWs regarding whether they are private or not, how many were released, what they are worth, what they were sold/traded for in the past and potential sellers and buyers for each item. That would be pure bliss.

On my own, I would spearhead a left held reverse grip Spartan sword. That or make genderless pets a goal worrh achieving again.

Well, I don't like beer or wine...or most alcoholic beverages with less than 40 proof.

it was super scary for awhile but luckily things have sort of cleared up. the fires are slowly being contained, but many people have lose their homes and pets. i am trying to help gather donations for them. it was soo scary though, i have never experienced anything like that. very brimstone and fire-y situation.

ah yes, your garden variety apocalypse lmao. yeah, i had leftover n95s from the wildfires last year and the smoke generated from that. i was only about 10 miles away from the fires and the wind was blowing directly into the town i was living in. at one point the air quality was the worst in the world lol.

it is sad this is the new normal. we are not even really in wildfire season yet, it came early this year thanks to that dry thunder. 2020 is awful smh. no comment @ our orange-stained oval office, only an eyeroll lmao.

It's definitely just all weird to think about haha. I'm sure someone could sit us down and explain it all, but we probably wouldn't remember and still wonder about the mysterious mirrors LOL.

I saw one question was "What would make you lose interest in subeta?" and that got me thinking about the fact that I am someone who did lose interest in the site years ago. I don't think it was necessarily anything the site had done wrong, but so much was changing in my life at the time I essentially quit. I was learning how to be an adult and a parent at the same time. I had less free time for myself and was losing the ability to create like I used to. I lost interest in OC making, I didn't draw, and I just had other commitments at the time. I guess I lost interest more to the fact I no longer had the ability to enjoy the site as I was used to.

Now at this point, even though I check in to talk to the few remaining people who remember me, I still don't have much interest to do anything on the site, but now it's due to just.. being out of touch. I don't feel like I can mesh back into this place anymore haha. I draw and make OC's again, but probably wont be able to do so for my pets here. But it's nice to stick around for a nice conversation and to look back and remember all these things I loved in high school and how it's still here.

What is your favourite gemstone?

My personal answer: I would have to say diamonds are number one. I know, it's basic, but let's not forget that diamonds are a girl's best friend and diamonds are forever ;) I'm always wearing a white gold ring with 10 tiny diamonds set in it on my ring finger. It was a gift from my grandparents for my 18th birthday. Precious stones always mesmerized me. Museum of Natural History in DC, Green Vault in Dresden, Diamond Museum in Amsterdam, Louvre in Paris, American Museum of Natural History in NYC, Tower of London. If it's got sparkly stuff amounting to couple of carats, I've probably been there. Opals, emeralds, garnets, I want them all though so I'm not too picky as long as it sparkles. Several amethyst geodes are also decorating my room since there is nothing more captivating than sparkly, colourful stones which are just another example of the stunning beauty of this world. Seriously though, I am aware it's not a really bad habit. Blood diamonds are absolutely despicable and the mining is really bad for the environment, but I just can't force myself to stop loving gemstones 😢 I mean come on! Why does a little heat and pressure have to turn something like plain old boring carbon into something so breathtakingly pretty?!

I'm an industrial diamond, not good enough to be a gem.

alien invasion lol ;_; well october means ghosts will be proven real and november is the election. maybe in December the second coming of christ will happen? maybe September is just a coronavirus resurgence since everyone is going back to school.

i believe wildfire season is like, September - October now. or November? i am not sure. in 2018 it was late November when the really bad fires in Paradise happened. (yes, the irony is not lost on us). i think a big problem that was cited was that we do not have controlled brush fires right now and so that helps the fire spread a lot easier.

q: favorite gemstone is opal! it's pretty.

My fav gemstone is the opale. It comes in so many colors and always looks so mysterious. I love it especially in light pastel hues.

What would make you lose interest in Subeta?

If the Wardrobe or Forums were removed. Seriously, I just love using the wardrobe to dress up my avatar - sometimes I even use it to try and design my OCs. The forums though are a huge reason I hang on Subeta - I love talking to people, checking out the art threads and of course the mini-games people throw. :)

What was the best party or event you've ever attended?

Oof thats hard, but I'll go with the last time I saw Within Temptation live in concert. There was pyrotechnics and confetti. I absolutely LOVED seeing one of my favourite bands perform live on stage and it was just incredible! ❤

If you could change anything about Subeta, what would you do?

I'd love to see some new games added to the site, perhaps something that everyone can play together using their avatars? I know Gaia Online have an MMO feature called zOMG!, and Neopets have their KeyQuest game -it would be nice to see Subeta have something similar.

What is your favourite gemstone?

Tiger eye - hands down it is my absolute favourite gemstone. It's so pretty and it may come as a shock to no one, but White Siberian Tigers are my favourite animal too! :) I also really like Amethyst but 9/10 I spell it wrong haha!

maybe the world will end like for real in november. the mayans probably meant 2020, not 2012. tbh i wouldn't be mad. I've eaten lots of good food recently.

in all honesty, this is the new normal. extreme weather is and will continue to prevail and grow stronger and more devastating. we cannot fix this as we passed that point decades ago.
