Balinese and Siamese are one of the most affectionate and dog-like felines. :)

If I ever get a chance to have a cat or two, I probably with go for breeds or individuals that are more independent and not so fond of their humans. I was hoping it wouldn't hurt that much this way when they pass away. IDK. I could be wrong.

It's always hard, yes. And you never know how the cat develops in your care. I had very affectioate NFCs, too. <3

How's vacation going? ^^

I am just back, love, have to teach and seeing patients until Friday night. Then, I have a free weekend and will load up some Colovaria contests here! Soon, all the Sub events will start, too, with 17th Sept

I really love the climate there. It's never humid, always a little wind or a strong one and temperatures are mostly not in the hot department. It is very relaxing and cooling in the hot summers we now have in Germany since some years! Where do you like to drive to for holidays/vacations?

@ ulalena That sounds like the perfect place to go to in the hot summer time! The last trip I took was already over a year ago to the nearby cities. Now with the lockdowns, I'm literally going nowhere c: There are certainly lots of places on my vacation wishlist, hopefully I'll get a chance to visit some of them in the near future c:

I have always wanted to visit Tibet. It's number one on my list. :) currently beyond my reach. Other places I'd love to visit include - Jeju Island - a beautiful island in South Korea. Kyoto especially during sakura season.

Welcome back! I’m glad you had a nice time on vacation. How did you spend your days? Did you eat anything unique to the North Sea? I’m away now and having lots of seafood because it’s so fresh here.

I was in Seoul this time last year. Jeju Island is one of my travel wishes too. I’d like to honeymoon there. 😊

Other travel wishes: Copenhagen - Scandinavia in general really appeals to me. I like to explore new cities on vacation. Amalfi Coast & Sicily - Places I haven’t been in Italy. So beautiful. Costa Rica - I like the culture there, and the environmental efforts the country is making. Banff & Prince Edward Island - I think you mentioned Banff before ? My friend went and loved it. It looks so majestic. P.E.I. must be on every L.M. Montgomery fan’s bucket list.

Meals at North Sea are the same like in my home village. LOL.Only more fish. :-) I never hört of Jeju, have to look it up! I would like to visit Copenhagen, too. I really like to have a more cooler climate. Sicilia is much too hot for me.
