Gosh I am so sorry, that you have mess out on one and have to restart. Bathhouse I had to start over, I had managed to get one year achievement. But I was trying to go two years straight, in case they made a 2 year tier. If I can make it until June 21 I think, I will have my 2 year goal.

Hey guys! Just stopping in to say hello. Sending a few gifts and I was had a question. While I was shopping for gifts, I noticed some of the things I was looking for are in the Forum Shop. And I only have 1 Forum Point right now :( So...... I wanted to know if anyone ever just posts random things just to try to get forum points, since they are totally random???

- Latvian bacon rolls...OMG anything with bacon makes me happy happy happy. I have had my sourdough starter since covid started...if not for being home I may never have tried it. There is not much kneading involved. If I want to make bread tomorrow I should have fed the starter this morning then tonight I'd mix up the starter/water/flour/salt...then do brief kneading (more like folding) 3 or 4 times tonight before I go to bed...then the dough sits in it's container with a loose lid and it more than doubles overnight...then tomorrow morning I will shape it and let it rest for a bit then bake...so I need to plan in advance. Hard to think...I'm still thinking of Latvian bacon rolls! :) I bake my sourdough in a cast iron dutch oven...but lately I tried a Pullman Loaf pan which I like...makes a nice shape so now I do both. I made sourdough cheese rolls about a month ago and my daughter is begging me to make them again...those were so good!

If you like making bread give the bacon rolls a try. I do them a bit differently tho than most of the recipes. I just put the bacon in a blender and blitz till it is tiny. Same with the onion and mix together with pepper. Find the mixture cooks enough when baking. Also to rise the 2nd time I fill the sink with hot water put in a colander and the dish with the dough on top. Keeps it rising all the time. I also don't flatten a ball of dough into a circle or roll it into a cylinder and cut it. Just roll out a hunk on a floured surface. Make sure it is thin and use a scone cutter to cut out circles or something bigger if you want bigger ones.

Nothing wrong with winning more than once, especially if you get the potion you want. Post away here, all bears do for achievements or forum points. Thanks for helping!
