yawns as i sit in the warmmmm kitchen watching the dough rise....well IF i could see it

Nothing nicer than the smell of fresh bread baking. YUM!!!!

- I love it...wishing I could just bake all day. I love every step of the process...the way the dough smells, looks and feels...the anticipation when I see if it got the rise I was looking for...then the final shaping...into the oven. The difficult part is when it comes out of the oven. I want a slice but have to wait for it to cool....it's torture! :)

I cheat when I make dough I use a bread maker. And I don't make bread very often cause I will only eat it fresh. Will make my Latvian bacon rolls, Pīrāgi, for Christmas and for gifts. A whole day process to make enough. Do you do it all by hand?
