I doubt it matters. They're going to restore whether you visit or don't visit, so you might as well get that unfinished dessert. Actually, I'd visit just to make sure you don't miss it when they do restore.

I mean for heaven's sake, there's still a DMD bug where if you only select one to reroll, it acts like you didn't select any, I reported it YEARS ago and it STILL hasn't been fixed!

Well at least the forums work, and it seems dancing is working so that is progress. Hopefully everything else is working again soon, especially the bathhouse. I don't know why this site has such bad luck with maintenance, even after all these years, but I wish the staff luck with getting it all figured out.

Comments would be nice. I cannot access mine except through widget on my profile, and even that doesn't work properly. This too shall pass.... Thank you all for working so hard to get things working again. I can't imagine how tough it would be with such a small staff, so thank you!!

I don't know about anyone else,but when I try to use the 'explore' function,I get an error saying that the page won't load due to me not allowing cookies or something. I'm pretty sure I am allowing them though. I don't know if this is part of the known errors,but I wasn't experiencing this yesterday...

Have you guys ever considered making a stripped back version of the site that maybe has fewer bells and whistles, but offers consistent core gameplay?

The core of the game being buying/selling items quests/Pets seems like it should be relatively straight foreward. With the wardrobe having it's own new code already in place, and that would leave the BC and forums as probably the biggest chunks of legacy code that are central to actual gameplay.

Then I have a feeling that some of the stuff that causes you a bunch of headaches is stuff like notifications and all the customizable sidebars, bookmarks, wishlists, the shoutbox, some of the flash/html5 games could either be cut or added back in slowly over time.

Or at least you could have a watered-down version of the site that you could flip to when it gets laggy.

I've always been curious how many of these relatively cool QOL things are adding up to make the site unbearably slow. At the end of the day subeta is a relatively simple game, but it lags more than a AAA blockbuster game.

Same 💩 different year. Lag is annoying, but after 12 years I'm used to it. I say leave the site alone and quite trying to optimize it or whatever because every single time you guys do this, bad things happen.

almost 10 years on this site and i’ve never been more disappointed tbh

after coming back from a multiple year long hiatus, i’ve spent WAAAY more than i’d care to admit on this site (probably just about as much as you’re thinking if not more).

i recently moved hours away from all of my friends and family about 5 months ago, so this site has been a huge comfort for me especially during these times. therefore, majority of my “fun/spending” money gets dumped into my account since i don’t have friends in the area to go out with much or anything.

i’m really starting to regret spending anything at all, whether recently or over the years i’ve been here. i have literally spent money i couldn’t even afford and i can’t even get a half functioning website out of it. honestly if this ever even does get fixed properly, my interest in this site has dropped exponentially since the whole wardrobe issue.

it’s just such a shame and i know i’m not the only one who is disappointed in the way staff has handled everything over the years (excluding of course).

i’m just tired :/ i want my favorite site back and i want to feel like the staff actually cares about their users and our experience. it’s really not a lot to ask.

I REALLY want things to get better... I truly do... because I found out my life is an absolute BORE without something like Subeta to occupy my time at least for most of the time I'm on my laptop. I hate to echo others but I am disappointed that all the moves done don't seem to fix things... instead they oddly BREAK more .... I'm trying not to let it get to me... I'm sending positive vibes to you lot working on this...

The bathhouse thing has really upset me... I was over the 200 day mark, I feel so deflated and nervous that I won't be put back to where I left off. I can handle the lag, I've been playing for over a decade, lag is the norm, but losing my streak, that hurts, even more so when it wasn't my fault.

All I care about is getting on once a day to do my dailies and I'm happy, but yeah, I agree with everyone else, all these moves don't seem to fix anything, certainly not the lag, and definitely not when an event is going on...

Damn. You guys really screwed the pooch this time. I'm almost impressed at how broken it is.

How has it been days without significant progress? Even if this isn't the staff's full time jobs, it's a commitment that we, the users, pay them to keep!!!! I came back after a long hiatus and started a new project right before all this happened and I can't even work on it because of the issues.

Hopefully it's fixed soon!
