Same, I was at nearly 13,000. Nothing I can do but hope I didn't lose too many retired/CSC pieces. I can describe a lot of the rarer pieces, ("the Grumpy Cat donation present," "the little pink horse that sits on your head") their official names elude me, so I guess nothing I can do but hope for the best. I seem to have most of the things I care about, so that's good.
I feel horrible for the people who put real money into this site regularly. I'm sure the staff feels awful, but, uh...they kind of should. Mistakes happen, sure, but this shouldn't have happened. Sometimes feeling bad about mistakes is how we learn from them. Thanks for working so hard to fix it, though. It's appreciated.
I'd like to make good use of the report form the staff gave us but...I don't remember most of the stuff I add to my wardrobe ):
Also adding to what Andrea said, maybe I don't use my wardrobe as often as other people, but I do spend a lot of time and care on my pets. They don't have descriptions or treasures, but I do care a LOT about them. If I lose any single one of them I'll be royally pissed.
Bravo! That is everything that has gone through my mind the last few days.
For those of you who have no idea what you may have lost, there is a spreadsheet that is being built that you can check out. Other than CWs taking a hit, the sp items seems to be mostly lesser items at this point; although I was missing 2 Romero Nova items and checked all the most recent Subeautique groups and those were the only things missing. Her is the link for the spreadsheet. At the bottom of the sheet there are 3 links for CW, sP items, and artist's releases. I hope this helps a little.

What was the question?
Aww, that's so sad... :( I haven't been on lately, so I don't know if it affected me at all. I hope not, but at least I don't have to worry about being 'up to date' with the older logs. I hope everyone has figured out most of their items by now, good luck!
The glitch happened only if you switched to the new wardrobe?

You don't have to. Staff promised to recover all items that users lost to this glitch (or at least try to) by cross-referencing different sets of data.
Here's the collected data of all the items that got deleted in the timeframe (meaning: one user pulled an item out of their wardrobe and this deleted a copy of this item in other users' wardrobes)
Your wardrobe might have been affected as well, but Staff is trying to restore the lost items to the accounts.Apparently, it affected everyone to some extent. Whether they used the new wardrobe or not :/
I wish the best for everyone I had over 22,000 items. Thank goodness I have been selling many of my expensive items, but not all. I know the team will work hard on this issue. Thanks to everyone on giving ways to find out what we might be missing. Hang in there and be safe everyone.
The is in the the wardrope, but it dissapear all the time when I try to wear.
An other waird glitch is I have now a rare item suddently twice: I had put it in my vauld an now I have one in my wardrope and one in my vault. I swaer I have bought it just one time, so it could be a glitch. I don't dare to delete one of them. At this moment the situation is still too unsure.
If I check them on my account search I have 2 of them, but I don't see it on my HA. I have got the original item in my vault.
Thanks staff for only returning items YOU deleted if we can PROVE we owned it, even though you admitted 4 months of data is missing. I have never been so disappointed in you, wow.
That's really absurd. How are we supposed to prove we owned things if you all don't keep logs? If you were the ones that lost the data? I thankfully am only missing one cw, but there are ppl missing multiple. When are we gonna get those back? Are we supposed to send a ticket to retrieve them? are you using that form for anything at all?
I’ve been hearing of more and more people who are being told that their proof isn’t sufficient because the problem is that they don’t have any definite proof! How in the FUCK are people supposed to have proof of gift items and trades that they made 4 months ago?? ESPECIALLY during lumi holy shit
It took me literally like 5 minutes to set up a sheet for the community to pull info to and from, and we’ve still yet to see anything from staff. And so when people finally realize that they indeed do not have an item anymore, you have the audacity to tell them that they can’t have their item back... considering this was your goddamn mistake due to negligence, the fact you’re asking the community to carry the cost of it ..... yikes. Let’s say I lost , I wouldn’t be able to get it back because I have no proof of purchase on my account as it was a gift? That’s absolutely WILD
I was one of the first people who filed a ticket before the report form existed and can confirm that they asked me how I got the CW.
I'm hoping the fact that I told them the name of the releaser (who is ALSO missing her copy) and that I bought it from her will suffice.
This is unacceptable.
You guys admit that you fucked up and that you don't have records of who owned what.
The purchase logs do not reliably show what people bought even from CW Shops.
They also do not take into account gifting or trading. This past Luminaire I gave and received a ton of CWs. I trade for CWs fairly often.
Since you cannot check your own records, it is absolutely imperative that you believe your users when they tell you what they lost.
There should not be any requirement to prove purchase when you can't verify what people tell you, anyway.
If someone comes along and requests 100 CWs, many of which are rare and/or private, then you might have cause to question that person.
But so far, I don't think anyone is doing that. You're not acting in good faith if you assume people are scamming you till proven otherwise--not when the fuckup is 100% your own fault and so completely massive.

I completely agree with Valiska. Some of us have massive collections, sell a ton, buy a ton, trade, gift, etc - And we don't remember how we got things. doesn't mean we're lying. this wouldn't be an issue if you had kept accurate logs and made backups, and we want the things we bought back. When is that going to happen?
Pretty much all this tbh.
It's really unfortunate that a glitch so major happened during such uncertain times( Covid ). Staff probably need to consider being extra lenient with their item replacements if they don't want to see a mass of users leave the site out of frustration. : | Nobody needs the extra stress right now.
Also, staff should use the community gathered info for their advantage. see who claimed to be missing what, a lot of items have plenty of users reporting it, get on those first if you're suspicious of ppl lying. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1N4UBmEx3hXDSvUhAmpbzEKjhfoe-X7ShyeagNmK8gNo/edit?usp=sharing the spreadsheet started by has a lot of info, people have been working together to solve this. Don't let all our work be for nothing.
I am genuinely disappointed and will be considering leaving the site once I released whatever I have left of my CWs. You are still being irresponsible about your mistake. What do you mean we don't have enough proof that we owned x or y?
How are we supposed to keep track of every little thing when you guys didn't give us an efficient way of tracking our items? Why is it our responsibility to keep track of everything? You guys should have logs (purchases, trades, lumi trees, etc.) in the backend that you can check. We don't go through account search and screenshot that we have the item with the date and time every time we get a CW. We don't take screenshots of our wardrobes everytime we get something new. That is ridiculous. I'm pretty sure most of us just want replacements of what we lost, not extra copies to screw anyone over. This really says something about the faith you have in your playerbase. I can't believe it went down to even more disappointing levels, but at the same time I am not surprised anymore.
If I read all those sad info, I'll think about to make some fan art of the pets of my friends instead to give expensive items next luminaire.
My trust in the site and my wardrobe is shaken and I will be adjusting my spending trend on this site till I figure out what is missing and needs to be replaced by the site. Thank you for your hard work on this situation and I'll go into wardrobe after the Masquerade event. Good luck everyone.
