I know the glitch is supposedly not ongoing but I’m nervous about adding new stuff to my wardrobe :c

I have so many items... it would be hard to tell what Im missing, any advice?

Thanks for the confirmation concerning the Ornaments in the Wardrobe issue! I was wondering if that had been noticed, but the main issue should be worried about first. :)

Best way is to try and remember how many items you had in total and checking it against the old wardrobe's Organize feature, which tells you how many items are currently in there.

Also if you remember any important items, account search them to see if they still show up in your wardrobe.

I just looked and I don't think I'm missing anything, I can't be 100% sure but I know the items that I was more worried about than most, are fine... I'm one of the few lucky ones there... I hope others can get back what they've lost.

I also believe the situation is made worse by the fact the wardrobe (both old and new) is being a pain in the ass.

I've been on the site for 9 and a half years. I've maybe removed an item from my wardrobe twice. I don't really understand that practice to begin with, but I guess people are doing whatever they are doing shuffling stuff around. There are a lot of things that people do on here that I don't understand and I guess that is what I like about the site too.

Keith is not Subeta and Subeta is not Keith, folks. Sure, you might want to hear from a single person, but that person is right now. He is a staff member on the site. Companies don't always have the creator as the spokesperson for everything that happens, and that is fine.

A site issue =/= stealing. Calm down. You choose to use your real money to keep the site going. Nobody forced you to do that. They'll do what they can, but this was not an intentional act.

Be angry if you want, but ultimately it won't change anything. Your time would be better spent seeing what you are missing and making lists so the team can address everything. Stuff happens. It sucks, but it is a lot better than what is happening outside of our homes right now. Have some perspective.

I don't understand how a glitch like this could even be possible. Did you not test deleting items from wardrobes on a test server? Like this doesn't even make sense.

Unfortunately, I have a poor enough memory as it is, but my activity had been super spotty due to a lack of free time. (Until recently of course.) I really have no idea what's missing, I just know that my list doesn't look "complete".

I have yet to check for missing items as I heard this could cause more items to go missing.Is it safe to do so now or better to wait a few days? I have so many items in my wardrobe I'm not sure where to even start!

The new wardrobe says I "have" 15,452 while the old wardrobe says I have 15,162. New items that I added yesterday are in there so the 290 must be missing items. Oof. No clue if I'll figure out which ones are gone, but I hope so and good luck to everyone else with their items as well !

Well said . I agree that people need to slow down, take a deep breath, and pick up the pieces. Casting blame isn't going to help, name calling isn't going to help, so if you aren't part of the solution.....

I have no idea how I'm supposed to figure out what in the world is missing from my Wardrobe! I have short term memory issues due to a chronic illness so I'll never be able to tell what I used to have. I had very few CW's but the ones I did were really hard for me to come by. I've seen other's suggest that maybe those who remember what they removed from their wardrobes might make it a bit easier on the rest of us. I do appreciate the CSC, but....I can see how some people who have spent a lot of money on the site and may not get those items back would be frustrated and angry.

This is a huge setback and a huge shame, because it's shaken a lot of users' trust in the site (however shaky that trust may have been to begin with).

I'm hopeful that by working together, we can sort this out. Staff obviously feel terrible about this. Clearly it should never have happened, but yelling at them about it won't help anything.

The discrepancies between user reports probably just indicate that some users /thought/ they had some items in their wardrobes when they didn't. This is why the compiled list is handy.

If this upsets enough users enough to stop them spending their money here, the site will close, or will shrink to an even smaller version of itself, with less staff and input. Users will move on to other places to spend their time, and so will staff (through potential unemployment through to potential new employment - I'm aware many staff members work multiple jobs). This happens the world over, particularly at the moment. Shops and services are going bankrupt due to loss of income, and so staff are left unemployed. They will either use savings/benefits to keep their homes and feed themselves, will die, or will eventually find new employment and move on.

So sure, vote with your wallet, if this unfortunate combination of errors matters that much to you. Eventually staff will have no incentive to fix things, and will close up shop and move on instead.

If you want the site to stay afloat, don't be petty. Things will get fixed. Buy those cute little pixels you know you want. Save our lil rowboat, and don't let it sink. I realise that this is a drastic example.

Also, to those of you reading Keith's initial response as blasé or uncaring? I read it as the response of someone who is stressed (hello, real world events), who feels guilty over letting such a thing happen, and who is scrambling to put together a plan to fix things. Be kind.

I have a huge collection of items in my wardobe, and I was on the process of arranging it, so Im nog sure how to check them. I receive tons of new items for lumi as well. It would be very hard for me to figure it out without a list of affected items. Im trying to check how many items the old wardrobe says that I have, but I cannot load the page and I havent been able to see where in the new one says how many I have. Anyone knows were I can check?

Alright. i'm done. Here's the last of it. 13872 items, one by one, searched. i'm sure i misclicked and missed out on a few items, but i'm not doing it all again. There was plenty of times i had to go back through a section (each page on Subetalodge has 60 items on it, i was doing half a page at a time, so 30 items) and reopen everything. So i'm sure i opened 15k+ pages. my wrists hurt, my fingers hurt. But that's what hyperfocus obsession does to you. shrug Anyways, here's the last of the list.

If anyone has a list of what items are missing from the wardrobe, please link me! I've checked on all the CWs I can from my side but feel like one or two may be missing either way. Cash Shop items and stuff aren't that big of a deal as I can just replace them but the CWs are gonna be the biggest problem for me. Sure, I want everything returned but so far, the CWs I've looked for on my acc seem to be there.

Honestly? Fucking this. I'm honestly more pissed off because of Keith's over the top blasé dismissive attitude before fucking off to make Bug pick up the pieces hours later than the actual glitch itself. I don't think I've seen more than one damn post from another staff member on the issue at all, and that pisses me off to no end.

Can I just say I love Bug. They are always calm, helpful, professional, and downright loving.

Keith - what happened, man? Do you remember when the whole site celebrated your 16th birthday together? (Yeah I'm fucking old and have been here forever.) If you honestly can't care enough to make sure things run properly, hand the reigns over. Or at least let the Staff that can make clear, professional posts for you when something like this happens.
