Do you know about how many times you had zapped before you got chibi as a result? I went looking back through some old posts, and from what I could find it seems like you had to zap at least a certain amount of times before getting chibi would unlock him. I'm not sure of the exact way the unlocking works, but if it didn't work the first time, I could only suggest to keep zapping and hope to get chibi again soon. I remember or someone saying back then too that if you don't unlock him after a certain number of zaps, it should force the system to give you a chibi zap and unlock him.

If it still ends up taking a long time and a lot of zaps, and he's still not unlocking, it may be worth making a thread in Problems & Bugs to see if anything in the code is borked somehow.

In that case, my guess would be it may have been around that range that was considered "too early" to give the unlock. It should hopefully work the next time you get a chibi zap.

I am curious to know, how many battle pets does everyone have? And why do you have that number?

I have 6. I think it’s a good number to have for the time being. I have contemplated adding one or two new battlers to the guild but haven’t really fleshed out anything yet. I kind of want to get my guild of 6 more trained up before thinking of adding any new battlers.

I technically have five, but I only actually use three. And one's capped, so he only gets to have fun when there's new challengers. And there's no real reason behind it. That's just what I've wound up with after over a decade of playing on and off. Anything more than that I think would just be a pain in the butt to keep track.

I have 10 battle pets. I started with just wanting two pets, but then I wanted to experiment with different builds so I bumped the number up to 6. Two of my six battlers are fan pets from the same universe, so I felt the need to train another fan pet to match. I adopted two more pets from people that already had some stats on them so I continued to train them. Pet I then wanted to be an oracle of sorts so I wanted to make him really smart. I didn't want the intel to go to waste so I started training him too, but then his concept changed and now he's another fan pet that also battles xD

61, no joke, I train everyone because I can. It took me my entire account and I want more pets, lol.
