I am thankful I finally got this finished last year. Though most of my legacy items are still uncategorized in my vault waiting for me to still organize or get rid of them.

Agree, I would love to be able to search my vault by use. Would make it so much simpler to organize.

I think they just left them up until now because some people had such huge ones, they were giving people time to hopefully empty them out on their own eventually. I had a huge shop when they switched systems because I had been working on those hoarding achievements, but I emptied it out in the weeks/months right after the switch and sorted out what I wanted to keep and what I wanted to frag or delete or whatever, and I've just been using the new shops ever since.

It seems like it's just gotten to the point now where the old shops are just having too many problems, they need to just be deleted now since the code is so old. I know it's a bit frustrating for some people, but at the same time, in April when they are set to be retired it will have been 4 years since the switch to the current system. If people haven't emptied their shops out by now, they probably weren't going to do it on their own anyway, so this is kind of the only option now really. It doesn't make sense to waste time and resources to fix an outdated part of the site that already has a new version anyway.

(I know you already know most of this, this is just like a general statement)

The legacy shops used to be just like the "normal" shops of today. Then the site update happened in 2016 that produced this new shop system and turned all the shops that were up and running at that time into legacy shops, rendering the prices of items in them frozen in time. We were told to open new shops and start shutting down our legacy shops at that time, knowing that their time was limited to stay in existence. On the plus side, you could've had more than the max amount of shops allowed at this time open from that moment in time until now. I had 7 shops for the longest time since 2016 for this reason. You could also have an unlimited amount of items in your shop but now it's capped to 2,000(regular accounts) and 2,500(Gold Accounts) unique items per shop. The system of mass moving cuing was put into play which helped tremendously with the lag caused by moving bunches of items at a time and I took advantage of it over the course of the past 3 or 4 years.
They also retired the "hoarding" achievement that produced these massive shops. I think you had to have 25,000(??) unique items, unpriced, in a shop to earn this achievement. I was so close to getting it when this happened. :( So, to sum it all up. The legacy shops are gonna be gone in 2 or 3 months, which still gives time to implement a system of moving things to new shops or inventory or vault in small batches.

I am sure I don't have thousands in my vault legacy shop category. When I checked there were only 5 pages, not nearly enough for the volume I remember having there. The 40,000 unique items achievement retired before I could get it but I was working on that when the legacy shops went belly up. I like your attitude, which I will adopt. Shrug, and moving on. :)

How did you check to see how many pages you had please?

I was working on the hoarding achievements too but never could finish them up I actually stopped playing around that time because hoarding = life and that was taken away I was frustrated/upset but I did eventually return to play and I am still a hoarder lol :) I hope we get more shops or increased shop sizes, after they fix the loading issues

I hope so too (I don't even know how many items can be stocked there, just that there is a buzz about it)

in the vault, when I want to go to the next page, it shows how many pages there. I can't edit the picture in imgur but the first page is a blue square with a 1 in the middle. It shows 1- - - - 5

last year i packed all my stuff into a new shop, or rather i emptied the old shops, we already had this topic and I thought it was already settled? behind the new shops is now - qs - i have no idea what that means, the old ones have been removed long ago

HELP!! I just transferred my Travel Gallery and items aren't in my vault, items are gone, shop is gone!!! WHAAA...totally major freak-out

It took about 30 minutes until I saw them in my vault. How recent was the transfer?

I just did it, like 5-6 min ago, it took 3 seconds to get the success event, which is wrong, 'cos I had thousands of items there, and now they're gone and shop is gone! They are not in my vault, I made a special category named Travel Gallery, so I'd know where to find them and move them, but they are nowhere :( cries

I had thousands of items too. While I am sure not ALL of them transfered, 5 pages of them showed up in my vault. Iy says on the instructions page that it could take up to 30 minutes. Also, if only what wasn't already in the vault will go there. If you had other collections of the same items, they would go there. For example, all my minions from my legacy shop would go to their counterparts in my minion category. [edit]

I tranfered my Zoobeta legacy yesterday to a vault category named Zoobeta and they all got through right there, not in the Minions category. I don't get it...

But there is NOTHING in that new category, I had many unique items, even CWs in the legacy and they are nowhere now...No magnet if it is unique...

Can you check now? It's been about 25 minutes?

If you already moved your items and deleted your old shops, you can just ignore this. It's only really relevant for people who still haven't deleted their old shops yet.

I am still waiting for users to have the ability to search user shops by item id instead of alphabetical order- give us back the option, please.
