itβs also worth saving for and The reviver is a second healer, like 90% plus blocks 1-5 of each icon. The tablets are a blaster that has a chance to freeze, steal, bless, and/or curse. These are things youβll use more or less forever. Also, as a second (or first) blaster because itβs cheap and does the job. Someone should tell you about blasting because I cannot brain right now, sorry.
the return of chicken heaaaaad.
halfway to 5k health with six but augh t12 is gonna be a slough
Nice work, thanks for your hard work and dedication!

Woo, thank you Jovi and Jess! <3
I ran Philo through all the baddies and Haara got most of his battles done too. :D
I just love having all these old challengers to slaughter! And the EXP yessssss.
What are you considering to be the relavent tiers?
Acorn bomb is the second best obtainable bomb (BHB>Thunderball>AB). I remember when I was calculating out the effect of stat boosting for capped pets on using mecha, and the battle needs to last like 18+ turns or something close to that.
Also when you look at the median for potion of the robot thats when it really starts to look mediocre 43 icons vs 63 icons. If there were an opponent that you needed to bomb as a long shot, then potion of the robot would be amazing with its high ceiling, but most people don't use bombs, and those that do usually use it for OHKO potential, where the randomness hurts it.

Welcome to the battle chat thread. Hope to get to know you!! You both rock!!!

Morning All ^_^
Welcome! I am pretty new here too, my biggest pet is nearly Tier 5:) Is alot of fun (and challenging) and everyone here is so great at helping / advising.. Have fun!
Thanks to Jess and Jovi for the Guide and for all the titbits of Info that I have made note of, from other users..
Friday here, hubby home, so won't be on here for 15 straight hours, like the rest of the week..! hehe
Welcome! I've just gotten into battling as well and recently reached Tier 5. Here's the weapon set I'm using at the moment (based on recommendations from here and budget considerations of my own):
SPOILER (click to toggle)
[Item=Rainbow Vortex][Item=Gorgun][Item=Recycle Blaster][Item=UltimaPlus Tag][Item=Ziaran Throwing Knife][Item=Forj Tempered Kusarigama][Item=Freezewand of Doom][Item=Phoenix Quill]
My scroll set needs work, but I've managed to get by quite cheaply so far. Here's a few I would recommend if you're on a budget or not ready to splurge on the most powerful scrolls just yet:
SPOILER (click to toggle)
You can get the [Item=Lights of Sprites Scroll] for free by beating Eclipse, PSR, and Willowisp 200 times each. I also like a couple of the scrolls you can make yourself at the Secluded Shrine like the [Item=Molten Boulder Scroll] because it has a chance to steal and [Item=Perilous Whirlpool Scroll] because it has a chance to freeze. I've also just added a [Item=Cobalt Eternal Scroll] into the mix for extra defense.
With the weapons and scrolls above, I manage to get to at least Level 15 in the BQs each day. Sometimes I'll even get to Level 16 or Level 17. I can beat easy through to hard challengers at least 10 times each. And I can beat the odd very hard challenger once or twice. I think that's pretty good for such a cheap set!
I'd really recommend battling the event opponents released for the anniversary if you haven't already. I could only beat the easy through to hard opponents, but I did each of them 10 times and it gave me something like 27k exp. Tier 6 is already in sight after that!
Huh. I thought Ol Blue was in the Steamworks Menagerie. I forgot it was a plot prize.
time!! Battle Quest

I figured 7-10 (since 11 gets BHB/Mecha, among other things).
The mecha is slow to catch up both because of its total lack of first-turn damage and because of the diminishing returns to strength (a 250 boost is a 14% increase in DPI at the bottom of t7, 8.7% for my low-t10 main, and just 1.7% at 7500). PotR doesn't have that first-turn disadvantage, and it's superseded by heavier options before the boost really starts to look lackluster.
I'm not as down on skew as you are, but just for you I re-ran the numbers with the median instead of the mean. Coming into tier 7, PotR outperforms AB after 3 turns (even with a heal-heavy set); for my main, 6; going into t11, 8. (Using the mean it never gets past 2.)
You could use them both, of course. Maybe I can crack 10 wins on Llindorm after all...
You Won! You have defeated Torroweep
Heltarian earned 1200 EXP Points!
Head back to the Battle Quest headquarters to finish up this quest! Because this was level 15 you earned 1200 experience!
then...
Level 16/30
It's time for you to face FeliBot 1.0.1!
Nope, it is not :P
Hello! Can anyone remind me what MSH stands for? I was recommended this for the Lady of the Waters, but have no idea what weapon it is π
[edit] Whatever the weapon is, the Syringe was a good replacement (I still want to know though!)
You have defeated Lady of the Waters 10 times! You won a(n) Impossible token to use in the battle shop!
You have defeated Daemon, Servant of the Seas 10 times! You won a(n) Impossible token to use in the battle shop!
I'm finally done, and proud to have beaten all the challengers! πͺ π
MSH I think is the new weapon released during the Gelatin War: Maniacal Slappy Hand.
I gave in and bought a week's GA even though I really don't have time for extra quests etc. I'm so weak :P
Numair got through as many of the event challengers as possible yesterday. Time to start working down the list with the littles. Danil, you're up.
