I really like those genes though. I like the Keel too. I guess that gene got a lot of criticism but I think it's neat. No, I would love to hatch eggs every day but I just don't have room. I only have one slot left. D: I could stop being stubborn and use the Den but eh. So I pretty much restrict it to events.

Well if some didn't like it then they shouldn't use it. :-D I don't like using the den either, but sometimes I have to. And I never have any spare treasure because of buying slots. :-P

Indeed! I'm always happy to enjoy unpopular things...more for me and it's likely to be cheaper lol. Yeah, I've used it on a few occasions temporarily but I just can't bring myself to put permas in there. Eventually I might have to though because at this point, new lair spaces are just getting too expensive and I'm not sure what else to do in the game if I can't keep collecting dragons.

How many slots do you have now? I'm at 100. It's so hard for me to exalt. Sometimes I get in a mood and can exalt 2 or 3. lol

I don't really care for exalting and it's been a while since I've exalted any; I've only done it for dom pushes but since Arcane isn't particularly good at dom I've decided there isn't much reason for me to bother with it. I make most of my treasure from Glimmer and Gloom and occasionally selling higher-value items I brew with Baldwin.

You're probably right. We would probably see a lot more things if they had the user shop option instead of the auction house. I hope they are planning on giving us shops one day.

Yeah, I feel like the whole economy/market there is out of whack and giving us a better way to sell our stuff would be a first step toward improving it. I don't get the impression it's a huge priority for the devs though, or even that they think there's a problem. Maybe it's operating as intended but as a newer user who hasn't been around to collect everything cheaply over the years I find it frustrating.

115 now, I just sprang for the next unlock. Gonna need to get a Light rep during the next festival and I'll be wanting to hatch something for my account's anniversary and my birthday soon after that so I might as well make room. I'm poor again, fun! X'D

I've found I prefer hatching eggs (Gen 1s) over breeding but there are still a few dergs I want to breed. I just haven't found the right partners for them yet. Just more slots I'll need...

Yeah, I call them dergs too lol. For some reason, I've also started wanting to call my dog a derg. Like derpy dog. Oh well, she's almost big enough to be a dragon...she might pass for a Tundra or Gaoler haha.

Oh yeah - the eyes! I like my nature green eyes but I'm snobby about Common and Uncommon eyes. Zelda is adorable!! Chocolate labs are one of my all-time fav breeds! I have a 130 rottie, a yorkie and a tiny chihuahua.

I love Nature's eyes, and Wind's, and Lightning's...well, everyone's more than my own pink ones lol. But even Arcane eyes are nice on the right dragon. Which type (common, rare, unusual, etc.) I prefer just depends on the color. I don't care about rarity, just aesthetics.

Labs are amazing! I wasn't going to get another after the really unfortunate experience I had with my first dog, a Black Lab. She ended up having hip dysplasia and it was awful. But my dad found Zelda on Craigslist and talked me into going to meet her and I'm so glad he did. I've had her since 2011 and she's as sturdy and healthy as can be...extra big for a Lab too, somewhere around 90-100 lbs.

That's quite an assortment you've got there! You have a 130-lb Rottweiler? Wow. I love Rottweilers too. My neighbor had one when I first brought Zelda home and they showed interest in each other (she wasn't fixed yet) and I imagined they'd have amazing puppies but I got her fixed anyway. Kinda regret but it was the responsible thing to do. I had a friend who had several Chihuahuas and I used to pet-sit for her...they're very different from my concept of a dog lol but they're still quite lovable. One of them was so sweet and just wanted to snuggle all day.

Rottweilers, if trained right, are amazing dogs! I wanted a chocolate lab but due to our nefarious next door neighbors at the time my hubs and I both decided we needed a guard type breed. And our chihuahua is an a-hole! But he's so cute and snugly we love him anyway! The hubs can barely stand him but my daughter and I drool over the lil jerk. LOL!! I'm glad you made the right choice and got Zelda!! :-)

Ah, that's understandable. Although I will say this, I live in a pretty sketchy neighborhood (ya know, Kent lol) and while I know Zelda is a lovable goofball, strangers don't. She has an extra loud and intimidating bark to go with her larger-than-average stature and when people come to the door or creep around my yard, she doesn't hesitate to sound the alarm. I have no doubt she has scared away creeps. I'm also pretty confident that if an intruder threatened me, she'd eat their face, although I hope that never has to be tested. XD But anyway, maybe I just got lucky but she's turned out to be a pretty good guard dog too!
