I didn't know that about the A in Australian English! Interesting. Too bad I didn't pay attention: I had a houseguest from Australia for 2 weeks (she came the day I broke my foot! I had to send someone else to meet her at the airport and they took the wrong train coming back and she had her first adventure here! LoL )

Stop over and we can cheer each other up! I had a gray cloud day yesterday :/ Better today. :) I hope yours is getting better too.

I'm in north, central Mass. We got about an inch of snow/slush puppy pellets. Now it's drizzling freezing rain. I just came in from scraping all off the driveway and the car. The drizzle is supposed to stop for a bit, then come back as all rain this afternoon.

Day 11 a Bathhouse token...

Time to dig around, NOT breathing their stank air.

Thursdays are time off, so I cut som fire wood and cleaned my room. I can still make time to read the books, and redo an assignment.

At my lab appointment earlier, the phlebotomist had trouble getting blood out of my right arm. I'll need to bring that up next time, the left is easier.

I hope the drizzle doesn't freeze and make driving difficult! Our rain has continued -- schools closed early today and are closed Friday because of flooding.

[edit] The blasted bathhouse reset again! That makes THREE times it has started me over from the beginning. Argh!

So, after two days of warm weather (60°F/15.5°C) with flooding, we're having snow flurries this morning! So bizarre!

It's actually resetting without me missing a day! I have never missed a day for my dailies since I started here, and yet it has reset me THREE times! :c

There's a thin layer of ice over everything right now. Pretty, but slick. I think the roads are okay. Heading to work in an hour, so we'll see. We're supposed to get rain changing to snow this afternoon. At this point, bring on Spring! I forgot to go to the bathhouse yesterday as well. I was on day 401 too. At least I got all the achievements, so it's no big deal. Did you join the bathhouse ping group to remind you daily?

It suddenly turned cold where I live yesterday. Earlier that day it had been warm.

yeah, oh well. 2 kids home for the Sabbath (Saturday by us). My daughter and her big family will stop by to visit with me though. Maybe even get a Settlers of Catan in ! :)

That's what it did for us here! So strange!

I've not played any of the Catan games, but I love that type. Sadly, my husband isn't huge on table top gaming, and Mom prefers card games or Scrabble, so I don't get to play very often. My favorites are Camelot Legends, Lost Cities, and Citadels. They are all three stellar games!

Day 12

Four inches won't stop me, but I wake up all jittery. So I can't sleep in much.

Just reading tonight, I can redo an assignment after reviewing the report.

Do you have classes five days a week?

No, I have Thursdays off. But Mondays are full, from 10:00 to 17:00. I'm pulling light duty, my friend would take two courses for automotive and work.

I have never heard of any of the games you mentioned. My husband doesn't like to play games at all. He invited me to a game of scrabble today and I was FLOORED! So I didn't keep score, just so it wouldn't be competitive. We played Moose farkle with a grandson this afternoon, it was fun

We woke up to ice-covered trees. Pretty, but can be dangerous if the limbs get too heavy and break! There were quite a few power outages in our area. I'm thankful that I was not one of them! I love playing scrabble! I haven't really played in a long time though. Perhaps it's time to dust off the tiles and play again :)
