When I was young I always dreamed of owning an 1971 Jaguar XKE Coupe. The earlier 60s models are also nice. Nowadays, if I had to drive it in traffic I wouldn't want a manual drive, but the heart wants what the heart wants.

I know! I would be less worried had a friend not told me she was in a cast for 2 months and then (another?) doctor told her it was not healing right and she had to do it all over again. It still hurts when I put it down, it will for at least a year he warned me, so I won't know by the pain indicator if it's not healing correctly. :P

If I get one that is a minion, I put it in the minion zoo, and then if I can I get another so I can put it in my pet Tamagurci collection. So many choices! I was trying to explain to my son why we pronounce gist "jist" not with a hard "g" even though we say girl gift etc. He is 26 but not interested in the rules, he says English doesn't make any sense. I took a class in college called English from Latin and Greek elements because I have always loved words and the rules behind them singing in my head "i before e except after c" etc I love understanding the origins of words and expressions!

4 inches of snow does not make for a snow day. I did take a mess of pictures of my house and the campus. Well that I did, after midday most of it melted.

I have to make time to cook up a good HA for Masquerade, now that I have for a skin.

The Mallarchy Pond has been good to me today! None are worth a whole lot, but they're all new to me!

We've not had more than a dusting of snow so far this winter, so I'm jealous!

Being an only child, I've rarely played games, even Super NES games, with someone. Even now, though my husband and I PC game together every now and then (a total of a few weeks a year, I'd say), he doesn't care for console games so I play Mario Kart alone. Back years ago when we played World of Warcraft, though, we did play together and I loved it.

I'll need time to go about this manually, my phone can't connect to my laptop. It looks better at my house, some of the icicles were two feet long.

Had a long day at work. Got tomorrow off, but it's supposed to be icy out. I was really hoping for just snow, but I don't see that happening. They're saying it snows in the wee hours of the morning, then turns to sleet and ice. Just not a good day to go outside :( Maybe I'll just work on one of my projects inside. Or maybe I'll just nap all day long LMAO!

It 60° here in East Tennessee, and has been pouring the rain all night, and all day Wednesday. It even thundered last night -- way to early for that! We're under a flood warning until Friday afternoon, so no snow here for us!

I love words, too, especially their roots and how they made their way into English. Your son is right though, so many words come from so many other languages that the rules for English just don't make sense!

Ha! That’s funny! English is fun. It’s probably one of the hardest to learn though, because so many different rules. I like learning it too, just not writing essays. Did you know the ‘a’ in Australia is pronounced differently each time?
