I thought earlier that maybe one of the Shgengui Guo NPCs could have a Zentu as a pet, and one of the could have a Zasaba. Maybe Som could have a Zasaba whose name is something to do with poetry, specifically Haikus? I have a feeling that the name "Haiku" might already be taken, and a name that actually is one would be too long. I'm not sure who would have a Zentu, it couldn't really be any of the Floating Market NPCs since they're on boats, maybe Ying could have one, since you adopt them from the Bathhouse?

Zuzu ending up with a Chibi Dillema just makes so much sense. First attempt at making a plushie/custom plushie (Like Vanya) accidentally adds some magic an whoops it's a Dillema.

Wesley was hard to think of, but I think he'd have a Twilight Telenine as the family pet (for him and his daughters). Being an outdoorsman, idk, I see him as befriending some of the wild animals around Riverside, but none of them are his pets? Like, he doesn't own them, but they come beg for pets and food from him, especially the Popokos (Which I can see at least one of them attaching itself to Wesley).

Tobias strikes me as having a Blacklight Pherret--It seems like it would be a playful thief pet and pair well with the guy that sells lots of toys.

Since there is not much daylight in Underground, flowers and other plants that need sunlight would be rare. Skylight caver where Nacho Muerte lives(?) or at least spends his time is one of those few places with enough light for some flowers to grow. My head canon is that one day Nacho noticed some flowers and when they started to wilt he started taking care of them. For residents of Underground living flowers might be sort of a status symbol too, so I think it just fits.

Naturally residents of underground would have mostly graveyard pets, but I think Skitters could have sweetheart pet. I suggest graveyard tigrean and/or charlie for Ecks and sweethear harvester and/or keeto for Skitters. I'm unfortunately not good at all thinking up names.

I think vibrant xotl would be perfect for Rumi! Maybe she could even have pair of xotls, or a small herd of them. I also see Wesley more of a someone who befriends wildlife, but doesn't actually take them as pets. I agree with popoko.

I agree with Dolly having a Sweetheart pet! Alternatively, I think she'd be great with a Dawn Clawsion since there's no Sweetheart Clawsion yet. She'd definitely be able to take care of its high sugar diet, being a candy store owner and all.

For some reason, I feel like a Popoko of some kind would suit Mauve. It likes to snuggle up in his scarf, probably. If not that, then a Jollin would be cute.

Jo seems like the type of person to have a Twilight Feli. She gives off cat person vibes, and a black cat is perfect for her aesthetic.

Dara's already got those minions he takes care of, but if he had to have an actual pet, a Chai seems like an appropriate choice. They're basically treated by everyone in Shengui Guo the way he treats his minions.

Yah. Like all I can see is a family telenine or Kumos for Wesley as an animal he'd own. Otherwise, all his "pets" should just be the wildlife he's befriended

I like the suggestion of Lukien having either a mahar or dragarth in relations to the common elixirs in the shop.

Laure would suit having a sheeta as her pet as I can see her with the sheeta as travel companion and carrying her ingredients and equipment (as well as coming from Saherimos where she lives).

Unpopular opinion: i don't think all NPCs need pets. Some are too busy to take care of them. But they could be donating to the places that usually have animals in care: the Adopt R us, the trapped minions, Oatmeal, or those autumn dragons. I can't think of other places right now. Mattieu (all that glitters) is one of these NPCs. he actually doesn't trust any pet in his store, and he particularly dislikes cats. I think he prefers horses. o.o

If Reischen or Kain want the pet name Stabb then they can have it. I found Stabb in the pound and have just been zapping them. But I think it would make a cute name for a pet for either of them, :)
