I love decorating both in the games I play and in real life, I love listening to festive music and watching my yearly holiday movies/episodes (which I actually didn't do this year), and... I guess I love imagining what the new year will bring!

This year in particular has been quite special, though quite rough too. This year I guess I gave myself the gift of self respect and boundaries. I lost a long-time friend in the midst of dealing with the worst of my PTSD, but it gave me the gift of a taste of the freedom I crave. It was a bad friendship, and I did the right thing by ending it. The more I process it the more I know that. That's something I'm really coming to appreciate about the holiday this year.

December in total this year I think has become more about leaving things behind rather than celebrating it in the more traditional sense. For me December has become more about the nearing of the new year and wanting to get a fresh start than about carols, gifts, or Santa Claus.

In real life, I love my Mom's cooking and baking at this time of year. Her cooking is great all the time, but there's just something about Christmas that is extra amazing. I also enjoy the time off. • my mom having time off work, and my SO having time off school, so i get to hang out with them ^-^

• it's a time of year we all allow ourselves to indulge and really have a nice time. even though my family doesn't really celebrate christmas, we're still like "it's christmas" and plan really nice meals. i love that there's a time of year where we get to do that, to kind of let ourselves off the hook and treat ourselves to what we want.

Hi! what a lovely giveaway! Well, What I like most about this season is that it is a moment of reflection on the things that have happened throughout the year. I must say that this year has been very good for me in terms of personal projects although I feel very anxious to know what the new year holds for me.

As for my social life here in Subeta... this is my second year being active here during this season and I really enjoy it. It is good to know that, even if I personally don't know the people here (because geographical distances separate us), I have somehow formed a bond that can be called friendship. The atmosphere is very warm and pleasant.

And, and, to finish, what I like the most about this time of year is to eat until I explode lol.

My favourite things about the holidays are:

1. The only time we ever eat any kind of Polish food, and it's all my favourite stuff. My mom even goes the extra mile and makes the beat soup from scratch so it's a rare treat.
2. Everyone getting along. Everyone always acts extra nice during the holiday season, both at work and at home so it's a rare period of peace on that front which is always good.
3. Gift exchange! In real life and online I like to go all-out; it's always a joy to see someone you care about really get excited for something you got for them. And some of my more shy friends are more accepting of "extravagant" gifts this time of year so it's nice to be able to spoil people, too.
