Here's three things I love about this time of year:

1. PRETTY THINGS. Lights, sparkles, and things that glitter in the darkness of the winter. It cheers me up.
2. My family. Its the one time of year I get more than a day off and I can enjoy my babies and do all the christmas and mama fun things I wish I could do more often. <3 <3 <3
3. I love empty tree gifting here on Lumi. So fun to share love with friends and strangers.

The three things I love most about the holidays are: Being with the grandchildren that we don't see often as they live miles away. Hearing from friends and relatives that I haven't heard from since last Christmas. All the activities on Subeta and the parties and guests who come to entertain where my husband and I live.

Three favorite things about Christmas-Lumi

1. How nice everyone it - there is so much giving and love that is is overwhelming to witness.
2. The yummy smells of baked goods in the house (like the smell of homemade hot apple cider that's been barely simmering in the pot for 5 hours).
3. The chance to make and give others gifts in Rl ad on subeta- it is fun to be able to focus on others and their wants needs, and likes.

What I love about the holiday season:

1. Christmas songs, oh, Christmas songs!
2. SO. MUCH. BAKING. (I love doing the baking and eating all the goodies too <3 )
3. Snow <3 <3 That simple little dusting of frost always makes the world feel magical

I have a love/hate relationship with the holidays. I LOVE to eat the good holiday food, but HATE having to lose the weight afterwards. I LOVE watching people open the presents I got for them, but HATE having to shop. I LOVE being around family, but HATE having to fill those inevitable awkward silences. Not too bad for the holidays. I guess the LOVE outweighs the HATE there. 🎄

1. Oh heavens, the baking! I love to bake for the holidays. Very much one of the ways I enjoy spoiling people this time of year. :D
2. I love all of the lights and sitting in the living room while everyone else is sleeping and just enjoying the soft glow of the lights on the tree. So peaceful.
3. Watching the movie White Christmas with the first snowfall in December always makes it seem more like the holidays. :)
